Your group of adventurers have ventured into the darkest part of the cave, gripping their torches tightly. A heavy breathing disturbs the silence. The dragon has sensed the intrusion to his lair. A formation of crystals suddenly illuminate the room, temporarily blinding the party. When you regain vision, you can see the ancient beast in its entirety. It performs a single flap of its wings, causing a gust that knocks down the party. It looks powerful, infused with magic. The battle has begun.
Objective: Find a way to defeat the dragon.
Notes on mini-RPs: These are generally short, single-scene conflicts. The solutions may or may not be obvious, depending on how one thinks. Proper use of the environment is likely to temporarily prevent death, although your victory is not certain. There is no set limit on the number of players that can partake, so feel free to join in if you want to give it a go. Good luck! |

| You are in a large, circular room. The ground is uneven and is scattered with pebbles. Larger rocks look climbable and may be able to serve as a source of protection. In the center of the room is the dragon. Five crystals float several yards above the ground, radiating light. At the back of the room is the dragon's hoard of gold, piled up nearly to the top of the cave at some points and spilling across the room at others. |

Grab a light crystal, go to a rock, and see if the dragon has weapons in its hoard.

| The crystals are out of your current reach, although one of the five rests within arms reach from the top of a larger rock. The dragon brings its head back, sucks in air, and then comes back down, breathing a large stream of fire towards you. |

@Revo,
Yes. Each party member has a weapon of choice (bow, axe, lance, sword). |

I'll have an axe. Quickly dive behind the rocks and see if I could climb to reach one. But not moving from behind my large rock. |

| GenFear's off hand gets heavily burned as he tries to avoid the stream of fire. As the dragon turns its head to create a sweeping motion with the fire, Revolvulation manages to stay safe behind the rock. Climbing up, he can see one of the five crystals close-up. It looks fragile, but it emanates an invisible power, causing one to be weary getting near it. |

| Try to break off a piece of the crystal quickly before the dragon can strike again. |

| Elaborate on that action; explain the process of trying to break off a piece of the crystal. |

JPFan,
Yes, but it will function similarly to a bow and arrow-elemental attacks are allowed, but spells such as invisibility are not. A weak protective field could be used in place of a shield. |

| When the axe makes contact with the crystal, it shatters completely. The dragon sharply recoils and takes flight, hovering a few feet above the ground, searching the room. It notices Revolvulation and starts to swing its large tail. |

woo.
Take out my dark, wooden staff with a circular light blue sphere on top. To start small and not be over-powered, a simple bolt of arcane energy towards the middle of the dragon's chest. |

| The bolt makes contact with the dragon and bounces off of its thick scales, causing no harm to the dragon. The bolt hits a wall and dissipates. |

GenFears, you didn't die, if that is why you stopped responding. Your shield arm is damaged, however.
---- The dragon swings its tail, destroying the rock that Revolvulation was standing on. He starts to go flying. Pieces of rock, of varying size, start to spray around the room. |

I walk into the cavern, and see the battle going on, I bear my shield and rapier.
"Hi guys."
"Common sense? What's that?" |

| Some light pieces of rock hit against your shield. The velocity caused them to have some power, but you remain unscathed. |

| I finally decide to take action. I grasp my bow in my sweaty hands and send my arrow flying. The arrow zooms to the dragon and it is unclear where it does land. |

GenFears notices a crystal located above the pile of gold. There are others closer to him, but there aren't any stable ways to climb up to them.
The arrow flies straight towards the dragon's head. The dragon yawns, causing the arrow to go inside of it. It appears to have no effect. The dragon starts to stomp around the floor. |
