Hello, UNSC Members. I am writing this now, for one sole reason. The UNSC has gotten corrupt. We've lost the FEW good leaders- the few we really relied on. We are now letting chumps, who have trained for a week into the Spartan project! [See: http://www.roblox.com/Groups/group.aspx?gid=646222] Some people, who have been training for months on end, are being denied entry! [Like myself] If you agree with me, post "Agree" --------------------------------------------------------------- [1] "The Spartan Issue"
This is a HUGE issue. People, not going to give names, are being given positions and ranks they DON'T deserve. This problem, in particular, has effected myself. I wanted to test for Spartan, as a spartan initiate. Guess what happened? I was DENIED the ability to test. And then I asked around, how people got in, even when they had only trained for say, a week. Here was the answer: "I know it is because the secret to becoming a Spartan is to be really good friends with [not going to give name] (Which is hard) or be really good friends with a HR." In other words, the trick to becoming Spartan is k!ssing up to a HR. This is just sad. That the high ranks, allow themselves to be k!ssed up to like that.
Also, i've noticed some really sad things, when it comes to the testing. I know the testing is written out and all, but you have to consider, that all people have abilities in each area. Like, say so and so was good at thinking fast. And then when the say, obstacle course came along, they failed because they weren't good at obbies. One good Spartan lost. See where I am going with this? In a way, it's like the UNSC is taking the GOOD members, that they should be keeping, and spitting 'em out. --------------------------------------------------------------- [2] Ranking
If I had to choose, which issue is the worst of all, I would say it is this one. Marines, with no gun skill at all, are being given positions that they don't deserve. What they do is k!ss up to HRs, like I said with the Spartan issue. They don't deserve the rank, yet they get it. And whats even worse, is some people who have betrayed, and considered BETTER then marines, and given their old rank back. Note: that is a violation [In some cases] of H00D Protocal: "If any United Nations Space Command enlisted leaves the group, or is exiled, they are gone from the group, their rank will be given to another enlisted officer of superior status, However, said enlisted will be able to come back to the UNSC within good reason." I've seen people who DO deserve their rank have it given back, I've also seen people who DON'T deserve their rank back, get it back.
Also, their is some confusion on RESPECT. Marines automatically assume they are the "higher rank" then their actual superior, and boss them around. Normally this people have one or more of the following: No grammar, no intelligence, no gun fighting skills, or lack of uniform/discipline. If we were to root those men out (Whether it involves exiling them, or demoting them) I think we would be better off. --------------------------------------------------------------- [3] Activity/Responsibility
Now, don't get me wrong- I respect ALL high ranks. But some just refuse to pay attention to their lower ranks. They won't allow anyone to state their opinion, really. [Thats why I'm writing this] I was trying to talk to [Not going to give name] to ask him a question, and give a suggestion, and they said "Hi" and walked away. Thats just irresponsibility. If you want your group to prosper, you HAVE to pay attention to your troops. There is also the issue of activity. Certain high ranks, almost never go to base. And when they do, they make a total mess out of things, or ignore their marines/air force/navy as I said above. If they were more active, the UNSC would bond more. The marines/air force/navy would learn more, as well as the high ranks. There should start to me more "threats" that would occur if you don't stay active as a HR. --------------------------------------------------------------- Agree? Disagree? State your opinions below (Don't make them too long) Also, please don't post stupid comments. |
