-------------------------------------------------
WARNING: Word wall ahead.
Good luck.
-------------------------------------------------
In the time we have today, we have thrown away the existence of what we call ghosts. Spiritual beings- the residue of what was once human. They roam the land we, the humans live in. Sometimes they are of aid- sometimes, no. As time passed, we believed such things are myths.
But truly- are they?
The answer is yes, but not in the way we always knew. They were different, albeit somehow still the same. Yes, they were the residue of a living human. Yes, they are roaming souls in the earth. There are somethings we do not know of them, however. Ghosts, being once human, are also capable of feeling emotions. They are not as apathetic as they seem. Another thing that defies the usual stereotype's look to the ghost is that he, or she, is not monochromatic. In fact, as more souls die every day, the more colorful the world they have becomes. Although we, as humans, cannot see ghosts, ghosts can see us. They need not to hide from sunlight, nor reveal themselves only in the moonlight. The ghosts love the colorful world we have as much as we do.
The ghosts lived in peace among us for years, but what purpose did they serve? Surely, there is nothing in this world with no purpose- such goes the same with these. Their purpose, however, is simple: to guide the men in their lives. They have two choices: bring them to glory, or to bliss, or guide them to their downfall, or to their own doom. And in this road, is what defines ghosts as who they are: angels, or demons. In the 'ghost world', angels are not winged, handsome men flying through the skies- merely people that have, in their death, aided those who are still living towards the path of fortitude. Demons, too, are not horned, forked-tailed, black-skinned mutilations of nature that breath fire, but just ones that act as an antithesis for angels. They will try their best to bring someone in their own ruin. By now, you might have a little clue on how these two kinds of ghosts do their job. Voices in your head. Simple as that. They are that small whisper in your head, either telling you the go on- the voice of the angels- or to give up- the demons.
As time passed, ghosts have enforced one rule among them. The one rule of the ghosts, is that they do not ever talk about ghosts. Before this rule was enlisted, a chaos was looming among them- their cover was blown. This was where religion began: the stories of great men, and their great deeds. But this also exposed the ghosts to the norm. This caused great controversy not only the ghosts, but also to the men. This allowed the entrance of dark magic, and the so-called undead. These undead were more terrifying and more cruel than demons, which made even the demons themselves fear such abominations. Thus, after years of conflict, the wall between the ghosts and the humans was sealed, and the rule was given birth.
Still, some ghosts defied this rule. Slowly, yet quietly, they managed to escape into the world of the humans. Some of them led to the formation of witches among men. Dark magic was still practiced in secrecy. Most of these rule-breakers were lead by demons: those with a hidden agenda. What agenda? No one knows for sure at first. But when time came, the story became more clearer. These demons were corrupted by an outside force- a force of darkness, looming over the shadows in both the world of humans and ghosts. This force remained unknown for years, until it was revealed one day: a human necromancer, discovering a secret 'magic trick' which was slowly corrupting ghosts. To say, it was a 'demon among demons'. At first, it wasn't too obvious, only increasing the amount of trouble the demons made. But slowly, its real goal was revealed: to shatter the wall among ghosts and humans, and cause chaos.
And so, this was fulfilled. The wall broke among humans and ghosts, and because of this, a change happened among the angels and demons. Both developed wings- not normal, bird-like wings, but wings that were formed by light for the angels, and darkness for the demons. They were able to conceal these wings, and also reveal them at will. They were also given two abilities, which depended on their side in the forces. For the angels, they were gifted with the 'Touch of Righteousness', wherein when they touch a human, he or she is, although not forced, but rather somehow convinced to do good. The same touch can heal wounded ghosts and humans, and is the only thing can hurt a demon. The demons, too, were gifted their own touch: the 'Touch of Corruption'. This one acts as an opposite of the angel's own ability, whereas it convinces, or manipulates, the man to do evil than right. The same touch can also damage an angel, and can also strengthen, or weaken, ghosts and humans. Another ability of this touch, was that when an angel or a demon is to hold a weapon, this weapon can hurt the other, whereas if used by a normal, living human being, it cannot.
Because of the angels and demons being tangible and invincible to the humans, all the while being a danger to each other, a war started among them. From here, it became evident that the 'demon' that once lived among the demons only, also managed to get in the heads of the angels, albeit not being as effective as it was to the demons, it was still able. And because of this 'demon', it was the sole reason for the war. And now, even in both angels and demons themselves, their own war is happening in their mind, struggling for control over the new-found force that causes them all to go out of their boundaries. This made one thing clear: there was still a chance for redemption, even to the demons themselves, and this redemption may be their hope of surviving the dark force.
Bu the dark force himself had another plan. Slowly, and gradually, his 'demon among demons' curse grew, and when this grew, it weakened the resistance of ghosts, and shattered the wall among ghosts and men. However, we now focus upon the former. After weakening the resistance of ghosts, this made them vulnerable to be something else- the so-called abominations of nature. The undead. When this happened, he had the ability to make ghosts 'live' again, although now, just the physical remains of the body- the bones, the skull, so on and so forth. And in this remain, it acted no longer as part of the ghost, but more of a cell. From here, it prevented ghosts contact from the outside world, and were trapped within this 'body'. No longer could they control it- the whole skeleton was under the control of the man. They could not kill angels and demons- nothing can kill ghosts- only give them the same fate the undead have, through weakening them. Another thing that worsened the situation: they were invincible to angels and demons. The touch of angels had no effect on them. The touch of demons weakened them, but only to a point where they would tire. At first, everyone had thought there was no hope in combatting this new adversary, but the answer was plain and in their own eyes. The answer that defeated these before, and will defeat them again: the humans. Sure, the undead were stronger than them, but they were still vulnerable to the humans. This small error in the necromancer's ways gave hope to the world.
Now, it's an all out war. Angels fighting demons, humans fighting undead. They only have one plan: search for the necromancer, and slay him. And in order to do this, not only will they need the strength of humans alone, for both demons and angels have joined in the side of the necromancer, turning what was once a war between between factions, into a war among ghosts.
An alliance between human, angel, and demon alike is needed. In order for their quest to be successful, they must settle their differences, and gather together to slay the force that is a throbbing danger to them.
Will they be successful? Or will they fail, only to be road-makers for those who are meant to succeed?
This is the story of the alliance.
This is the revelations of answers untold, and questions unanswered.

~Review of Angels' and Demons' Abilities
-Angels and demons alike have wings made out of either light or black, respectively.
-They have the ability to hide or show these wings whenever they want.
-This means they are capable of flight, whether with wings or no.
-Angels have the Touch of Righteousness, which can make humans think 'good', heal ghosts and humans, and deal damage to demons and humans.
-Demons have the Touch of Corruption, which can make humans think 'bad', strengthen or weaken ghosts and humans, and deal damage to angels and humans.
NOTE: The 'Touch' doesn't mean you just end up slapping each other. You can still punch each other, and even shoot a gun to another, just as long as you are using the 'Touch'.
-Demons can weaken undead.
NOTE: Not really related to their abilities, or whatever. But an angel can become a demon anytime, goes as well as for the demon. This happens when they become either more 'good' or bad'. This leads to their wings turning into gray, and soon turning into black and white, respectively. Yes, as said before, there is still room for change, and redemption.
NOTE: Ghosts can be wounded, but not killed. They can feel pain, too.

~Rules
No trolling, g-modding, ubering, and the like. If you are an angel/demon, use your powers to a limit. Know the word responsibility.
Be as detailed as you can, please.
Be as good-mannered and well-behaved as possible while in the RP.
Romance is acceptable, but only to a point where character development is involved. If it's just smooches and hugs, and nothing is really happening between both people, naaah.
Try to add character development, please. I wouldn't really appreciate it if your character's development started with 'wings', and ended with 'wings'.
Whatever I say, goes.
Rules are rules, don't argue with them.
Loopholes? Just *kindly* inform me, please. Questions? Just *kindly* ask.
Most of all, enjoy. :D

Only you, kami, could have made a word wall out of ghosts. Good job.
I may join. But I think I missed something: can angels/demons hide in society at all, or do they have defining traits that make them recognizable by non-celestial beings? What is the technology level?
I say again, good job.

Alpha; I don't know, maybe I'll try to make another RP that could have that. ;)
Xzerizon; Thanks! And yes, they can hide in society with their traits, although angels tend to be more on the righteous side, and demons on the evil side. The technology level is modern, like now modern. Or maybe (since I googled it lol), the Digital Age. Hope that answers your questions! :D |

You remember the other ghost ISRP you made me?
I might use the character from that, into this one. Either I'll say he died and became a ghost around then, or had a fondness for that era. |

Shoot, also, please add Gender.
(why do i keep on forgetting that?)
And for Angels and Demons, you can have only one name, instead of the usual first name and surname humans have. Like Raphael, Gabriel, Michael, anything that sounds angelic or demonic to you, whatever. |

~Character Sheet
Name: Llysi King [EL-aye-see KEEN]
A.g.e: Nineteen.
Angel, Human, or Demon?: Roughly humanoid.
Personality: [Varies.] (It's hard to decide a personality right off the bat until you know what you're dealing with.)
Appearance: A tall, fair-skinned man. Llysi has jet black hair that, while flat at the back, raises up into a point at the front of his head like an old movie star. Piercing, convincing blue eyes are behind contact lenses. The color of his lips is pale. A few spots of acne dot towards the edges of his face on his forehead. His body build is what can be expected of someone living on the farm: rather weak, with no obvious combat experience, but there's barely enough strength in there to lift a hay-bale.
Clothing*: A faded blue bandana covers Llysi's forehead, tied at the back in a simple knot. A silver chain encircles his neck, with a pendant the shape of a horse dangling from it. A brown trench coat obscures most of his body from view. Black, finger-less leather gloves covers his hands, with an old, analog watch perched on his wrist. A water-repellent blue satchel carries his belongings. A tan t-shirt and grey jeans are under the coat. Black leather shoes are on his feet.
Background**: Llysi King is- or was- a talented musician, a farmer's son, and a borderline prodigy at his school. You'd think he'd have a splendid life. Not so. When a demon touched his father, he (the father) went mad and tried to kill his children. Llysi escaped and reached the nearest metropolis, with all the money he had earned and some other belongings.
Items***: A cellphone, fully charged; a pocket knife, Swiss Army; A larger, fixed-blade full-tang knife, Field & Stream, concealed under his coat; Money; An old, analog watch; matches.
Other: N/A.

Name: Arnealas
A.g.e: He looks like an average 20-year old.
Angel, Human, or Demon? Angel
Personality: If Arnealas wasn't an angel, he'd be easily mistaken for a demon for first-timers. He is somber, asocial, and a little pessimistic in his actions. However, if you grow on him, he also grows on to you. Despite his rather serious attitude, he becomes calm and tolerant of things when he gets used to them, and even gets a little 'humorous', to say so. He tends to be humble about his deeds, and also clever in his actions. He is confident, and also merciful in some ways. Sometimes, he somehow gets afraid of things, being fearful and paranoid at times, but even so- his courage triumphs when he uses it.
Appearance: A light-brown skinned man, he has a small mustache on top of his lips, and underneath his eyes are eye-bags. His hair is black, and looks uncombed, as it is, in fact, messy. His left palm has a long scar running across it. His eyes are also half-open, making him look somewhat tired.
Clothing*: He wears a brown fedora to top his head, and a white t-shirt with a black neck-tie inside his brown trench coat. He wears black jeans, and also black leather shoes. He also sometimes wears sunglasses, which he places in his pocket when he's not using them.
Background**: Ever since the realm shattered, Arnealas, instead of joining his fellow angels in war, lived hiding among the humans in an effort to try and live in peace. However, he was not oblivious to the happenings around him, and was fairly aware of the growing threat of the undead, and the civil war between ghosts themselves. Thus, he slowly gathered up his courage and decided to help in trying to regain peace among both sides of the world, and of the ghosts.
Items***: A small pocket knife, brass knuckles, his sunglasses, and a few coins in a wallet.
Other: N/A

Too much to read.
I just finished reading a whole book series.
But it looks like a good rp.
But my eyes hurt from reading too much.
