Disney is just the company that is releasing it.
Lucas is still directing it. |

And most of the old characters in I-VI will be in it.

No. More. Star Wars.
Seriously, this started going down hill after the original trilogy, and at a certain point reboots become redundant. Star Wars has gone past that point. Way, way, way, past that point. It wants to die. Stop making it suffer. |

@Surf Yes, and he did quite enough irreparable damage to it. A sequel arouses nothing but disgust from me. I don't want more Star Wars. |

I do.
When I found out they made two ewok movies my mind realized they needed thousands of big budget movies from sequels to prequels and spin offs with all sorts of corners of the galaxy. Or show more.
Long live The Star Wars. |

Despite earlier criticism (I think Leslie knows what I mean. Sorry, man. =/) I'm now eagerly anticipating this project, I learned to accept that the comics and films are two separate things. Corey Feldman expressed interest in the role of Han's son. I say hell yeah.

Like I said ultra.
The comics are a alternate timeline ala terminator.
At least that is how I like to see it simply because it allows for anything to be canon. |
