Yes, this is legit.
But, yeeees, we will make this detailed. Of course we'll have the general explanation of the Games, and then we will describe the arenaaa. Yeeeee.
Mm, let's get started. |

Does that mean we join now?

All of a sudden, having more than just humans but with balance seems like a nice idea. |

"just in the 20 minutes i've been here,"
And you're trying to troll. Comical.
And I don't care how overrated Hunger Games is. I sincerely, genuinely want a well thought-out Hunger Games RP. |

@GenFears,
Not just watching you. Pretty much all citizens of Districts 1-12 (13 is underground, but people are probably ignoring the latter half of the series or using previously numbered Hunger Games) watch, and they can actively contribute to their favored contestants. This is usually from people in the capital city, as they have the most money. These gifts often save contestant's lives.
Also, Tai, if you do make this, please do not consider anybody who states that they volunteered as tribute if they are not from District 1 or 2, /maybe/ 3. |

@taiwolf,
okay. i won't join your rp. you don't have the ability to kick me out of the entire forum. i'll probably leave in less than a week like i have the last 4 times. you probably don't remember me, but my first posts on here were in 2010, i believe. it was just very infrequent. i do remember you from the last time though, although that would have to be several months. |

| Well, Aderessa, that's... an aspect of the Games. I mean, I guess you should prepare yourself at the Reaping, but, frankly, if it were me, I would convince myself that I wouldn't be picked out of fear that my name would be drawn. So it's not necessarily unrealistic for a tribute to react in such a way. |

Solotaire, I'm not asking you to leave the forum. I just don't want you to screw around on my threads when I'm trying to collaborate/RP, unless you're truly interested in helping or joining.
Is that fair? |

Arena concept: Castle-city. Players start in a dungeon/cellar area of the castle. The cells provide nice weapons, armour, food/drink, and other useful utilities, but you obviously are backing yourself into a corner and have a high chance of dying immediately (one of my concerns about a Hunger Games RP- the fun is spoiled for some people if they get killed off early, but unless you purposely provide filler NPCs, it can't be avoided. Dealing with player-v-player kills can often be tedious and requires a caliber I don't expect most of the people on this forum section to be able to provide. You'll have to be selective when accepting character sheets, which actually does give you a chance of having the previously mentioned filler NPCs).
Water sources are wells located around the city. This could easily be contaminated if the powers that run the game felt like it (which players will build up a reserve?). Although I described it as a castle-city, there would be no beds, but rather cold, stone houses throughout the city. The castle could be elegant, but once again you run the risk of being found easily and killed. Food would also be limited in this type of environment, so gaining the external support of sponsors would be relevant and beneficial. |

| And yet none of you think of making a story about the rebellion(s)? Or the lives of the non-tributes? Or even the other countries? |

@AbCatchem,
If the capital had the ability to nuke district 13, I assume there aren't any other countries. |

Then why haven't they set up cities or even forts in the other countries? And who is to say that other countries haven't advanced technologically as we'll? Not to mention, the other two possibilities. |

refer to my first post about nukes. not exactly inhabitable area. They also get everything they need from the 12 districts, they don't need to expand. The other countries, which don't exist, aren't as technologically advanced because if they were they would have done something after district 13 incident. |
