[SSGT] Staff Sergeant- Patrol, guard, and train at UMC bases when available to do so, participate in combat when necessary, command subordinates, lead small units in combat, send out patrols at will, train subordinate soldiers within the military when ordered to do so. [SFC] Sergeant First Class- Patrol, guard, and train at UMC bases when available to do so, participate in combat when necessary, command subordinates, lead small units in combat, send out patrols at will, train subordinate soldiers within the military when ordered to do so, plan combat operations with senior staff members when asked to do so, provide disciplinary action when necessary. Has permission to use a tank, with training. [1LT] First Lieutenant- Patrol, guard, and train at UMC bases when available to do so, participate in combat when necessary, command subordinates, send out patrols at will, lead a mid-sized unit in combat, train subordinate soldiers within the military when ordered to do so, provide disciplinary action when necessary. Has permission to use a tank and helicopter, with training. [CAPT] Captain- Patrol, guard, and train at UMC bases when available to do so, participate in combat when necessary, command subordinates, send out patrols at will, lead mid-sized units in combat, train subordinate soldiers within the military when ordered to do so, provide disciplinary action when necessary. Has permission to use a tank, helicopter, and C130, with training. [MAJ] Major- Patrol, guard, and train at UMC bases when available to do so, participate in combat when necessary, command subordinates, send out patrols at will, lead mid-sized units in combat, train subordinate soldiers within the military when ordered to do so, plan combat operations with senior staff members when asked to do so, provide disciplinary action when necessary. [LTCOL, XO] Lieutenant Colonel- Patrol and guard at UMC bases when available to do so, assist in commanding on-base operations, recruit new people into the military, conduct Basic Military Training for recruits, conduct Officer Training School for officer candidates, confirm that subordinates are adhering to proper on-base procedures (such as attending to responsibilities and observing uniform requirements), conduct training, promote soldiers when necessary, demote soldiers when necessary, provide disciplinary action when necessary.
