Not for gaming, but no matter. Prices as of 21/12/12.
1333 MHz 2GB RAM x2 = 4GB, £7.15 x 2 = £21.45
AMD Athlon II X3 Triple Core 3.2 GHz £48.52
Gigabyte GA-78LMT Motherboard £31.58
Asus HD 5450 AMD 1GB Graphics £26.41
Western Digital 250GB Black hard drive £44.99
EXDISPLAY Casecom MA-1188 Case £13.71
Casecom 500W PSU - £16.50
Total: £196.01
This computer would be fine for work uses, and light surfing, youtubing. Anything but heavy gaming really. |

| One mistake. £7.15 x 2 = £14.30, not £21.45. |

| Technology is cheap. Though, this is sort of on the low end of my standard for "decent." |

Don't buy cases and some other things, keep things that you have. I have to know how old is your computer.
On the other hand, I'm left-handed. |

"196.01 gbp to usd"
"196.01 British Pound Sterling equals 316.73 US Dollar"
316.73x0.80=253.38
So $253.38 without taxes.
On the other hand, I'm left-handed. |

What?
"I have to know how old is your computer."
This wasn't for me. This was just a theoretical test as to how cheap you could go. £150 is possible but would require special deals AND cutting into the processor. |

There's a quad core AMD Athlon II X4 640 at 3.0 GHz that costs £53.34
On the other hand, I'm left-handed. |

| Besides, water cooling is way over the top unless you're going to be overclocking to ridiculous values, such as 5 gigahertz. |

drop the sound card and get an 800W psu instead
there's literally no way in hell you're going to need or use 1200W |

| Already got a working Mac. And it has Parallels (Ability to use it like a Windows) on it. It is pretty fast. I am probably getting a new keyboard. And I have a new mouse for it. So probably. I am fine. |
