Touchpad is good for painting, but that's about it.
So Mouse by far.
Touchpads are just plain glitchy

Yeah, in gaming, you must use a mouse lol, unless you're a pro with the touchpad.
I was just talking about in general. |

Mouse, unless your mouse plugs in to the computer and often unplugs itself Touchpads are awkward, and I'm using one right now Not very good -- ≈YA KNUW HAOW MUSSH AH PIZZUH CAWSTS LIEK TEN BUCKS≈ |

IMHO I prefer the mouse, due to the fact that every time I use a touchpad, my palm keeps sliding onto it, causing me to accidentally erase whatever I type.
I prefer a laser mouse, due to the fact that I don't have to clean it (Meaning that nobody can remove the ball), You don't have to reset to use it (Unlike ball mice, which have a PS/2 connector, which often come loose and need the computer to reboot in order to connect again.), and because they have better handling. The only downside is that they break easier, the white and silver ones gain a black residue after a few years, and they look out of place when used with an older computer.
I hope that this explains my views on this debate. |
