The royal family of Aurelia have been usurped by a neighboring kingdom. Their soldiers and heritage seem all but ruined, the remnants of which have formed into the 37th Calvary, a small collection of knights led by their prince, attempting to slowly take back what was theirs. You, and your team members, are members of the 37th Calvary, and have been assigned to take a fort located in the plains.
Your group arrives at the fort, which is surrounded by narrow, but deep water. There are a few weak trees along the bank. With little cover, your advance was easily spotted, the scouts retreating into the fort to call forward the archers.
Objective: Find a way into the fort and rout the enemies.
This is a short, single-goal role-play where you can dynamically develop your character. The purpose of a mini-RP is to allow players to exercise creativity in the scenes created by the GM, while allowing for the session to not drag on for days. They provide a short, (hopefully) entertaining break from the larger and more complicated RPs. Good luck! |

| The water has a stronger current than expected, keeping you stuck at your edge, unable to cross. However, you do notice that there are several fallen trees lodged at the bottom of the river. |

| You swim down along the edge to examine the trees. You notice that they all have marks on them-they were intentionally cut down. |

| Other members of your troops start to wonder if you are still breathing. Knowing that their time is limited, they devise a plan to get across. Noting that trees are the only things near them, two members take out their axes and chop at one of the largest of the weaker trees. It falls, creating a path across the river. The horses are dismounted, and the soldiers begin to cross. One calls your name. |
