Except it won't end anytime soon. Everytime something is created, or born, it's ending begins. Such as ourselves. The moment we are born, we get closer to death with every second that passes by. It's the same for the earth. Whatever you believe (God created it, Big bang theory etc), the earth MUST have a conceivable end. It's just, that end won't be happening in our lifetime.

| I think the earth will End when the Sun ends. It's already halfway through it's life. |

The Mayans never said the world will end on the 21st. It's just the end of their calender. Like our calender, it ends on the last day of December and then we have a new calender! Doesn't mean at the end of December the world will end! Know what I mean?

Anyone who believed it will end, I will laugh at them.

| The Mayan calander didn't contain two of the months that we use. It was estimated that their approximation for when the world is going to end, or when their calander ends, was actually around 58 years ago. |

A meteor projected to be the size of, or larger than, the dinosaur extinction meteor is set to hit Earth by 2036. Luckily, though, we're going to have a private colony on the moon (or mars i forgot) by next year so we should be in space by then.
