Just saying that this year, the way you actually earn the gifts (NOT BY BUYING THEM) is kinda lame..
For example.. News Gift = Signing up for the newsletter. Ooooh boy! That was a fun one to earn..
Choo Choo = Selling game passes? Okay, I understand that they want to encourage people to use this new feature and all, but to make a gift for it... just seems boring to earn.
Referral Gift = Wow this is probably the most boring one.. it doesn't even need to be explained.. (it does help expand the game, though)
Group Fundraising = Come on, at least TRY to make it fun.. raising funds for you group (usually just by begging the members) isn't fun.
I think that's enough.. the only gift that may be pretty fun/exciting to earn is the Cool gift. Creating a popular game can be a fun challenge and earning that one would actually feel like an achievement.
If we earned gifts from event places or building competitions or SOMETHING more interesting than the boring tasks they give us, this would be much more fun.
If you take a look at last year's gifts, most of them were actually fun to earn. (Just look at the 16-bit/8-bit gifts, ALL THOSE PLACES WE HAD TO STORM FOR IT! xD) Imo, playing games and earning badges is a MUCH more fun way to earn a gift than signing up for a newsletter, or referring a friend..
I don't expect many to agree with me, people just love arguing these days. Keep in mind this is an opinion, I'm really not looking to make anyone mad. =P But maybe next year, they could come up with some more fun ways to earn these gifts? This is supposed to be a fun event and all it is now is a bunch of boring tasks to complete.
TL;DR Version : The way you earn gifts is boring, they should come up with event places or new ways to earn the gifts. |

| Take a look now, all people are doing is stressing to try and buy a #7 limited or complaining that they can't get one.. How fun is that? |

Some people actually agree with me on this :) The truth is, they didn't do a great job on the gifts this year. At least they did it for us though. |

@rocket
I don't know, I guess some people find it fun. It doesn't look very fun to me though, and I'm not even gonna try and get one. xD |

| Well this didn't exactly get as much attention as I'd have liked, but at least I know that some people agree with me. Oh well, maybe it'll be better next year. |
