The series would probably be overall: more successful. I loved Tremors 2, as much as the first, but I at times feel, as if this film marked the end of the series, to be honest. Sure, we got two films following, and a television series, to boot. I still feel, as if the sequels lacked a serious something, and that was Valentine from the first film.
Kevin Bacon in the sequel would have gathered more attention, and probably better reviews leading to a higher budget, for the following sequels meaning that the series would have been sent in the right direction. Now, the series is practically dead, with a remake being considered.
Please, God. Give me a fifth film featuring all the central characters (Valentine, Earl, Burt, and Grady.) |

Read that as Terminator 2.

It started out as B movie done A.
Then went to A done B
And D done F. |

I watched the original again, and I still love it, as much as the first viewing. It oozes atmosphere. I love how they set it up as a classic slasher scenario, but then flip the coin, and make it a proper over-the-top monster movie. Like I said, I loved the sequel, but it would have been so much better, with Kevin Bacon. Imagine the two of them going throughout Mexico hunting down the Graboids.
Oh, and the Graboid scream in II still gives me nightmares. |

I had the strangest idea for a reboot.
Ocean Graboids.
Anyone with me? |

I can just picture Burt Gummer
Earl
And Val on a fishing boat
In the ocean
Hunting ocean graboids.
It'd be like Jaws but modernized like Tremors was.
