This film really puts you on the edge, unlike most vampire films. The acting was excellent, for this type of horror, and the setting was amazing. The Vampires in the film, are my favourite interpretation.
Sequel sucks though.
Highly recommended if you haven't seen. |

Thanks. I'll check it out, when I can.
Have you seen "30 Days of Night"? It's clearly how you should make a modern vampire film. Shame, it didn't get any more attention. |

Well, I hope you get to see it, at some point. It's a little cliché especially the ending, and quite a few things didn't make make sense/or explained such as The Stranger, being able to understand an ancient vampiric language, but Danny Huston gave me chills, as Marlow, it was well made.
Josh Hartnett is a capable actor he needs to drop the pretty boy persona like Leonardo DiCaprio did, and start taking his career seriously.
Heard the film was based on a series of graphic novels. I should check them out.
Well, sorry for the wall. :/ |

| The film is great. The sequel is terrible, well its a B movie. I like to say that it's not the best vampire film, in my opinion. |
