4 years ago when he was 14, FC Barcelona youth academy asked him to join their academy so he can develop my skills. They said he had to come to Spain for the main academy, so rejected this offer because he was in school halfway through his Gcse's. H e also had excellent predicted grades for his exams. He went on and got excellent grades but he says he regrets that decision because he is too old to be scouted by a youth academy.
If he went to the youth academy, he would be constantly in and out of the country or he will be there permanently. If he manages to play for the first team his wages would be pretty high and he would be successful, however if he doesn't make it or gets injured he may not have that much of a backup.
If he rejected(chosen) he would would have a more range of jobs but he would've possibly missed the chance of being a footballer(dream) and high wages.
What so you think he should've done? |
