(Inspired largely by croc45268's thread, Undersiege, but that's dead now.)
This is set in the middle ages.
You and your group of friends stumble across a large cave in the side of a mountain. Stalactites hand from the ceiling, stalagmites jut out from the floor below. Two torches burn brightly on the sides of the cave. An ancient inscription, written in an ancient language is chiseled into a wall. Suddenly, the "cave" opens it's huge eyes. The stalactites and stalagmites are actually teeth, and the monster swallows you and your friends whole. You are inside a dungeon that is inside the beast. You see a sign, it tells you of an ancient treasure horde at the end of the dungeon! More treasure than one could ever want or need. You decide to go with your friends, and try to get the treasure. At the same time, you want to escape the dungeon. Let the adventure begin!
You may be up to 2 adventurers. If you die, you die. You can make another. You may command up to 3 monsters, one at a time. I will choose what floor of the dungeon the monster is put on. I can insert as many adventurers and monsters as I want. (Problem? Solve it.)
Your goal: As Adventurer: Help you and your party get to the bottom and plunder the treasure! You will encounter monsters along the way, it is your job to slay them
As a monster: You will hunt down and kill the adventurers invading your home. Note: Monsters may kill other monsters. Note 2: Adventurers may tame some monsters.
My goal: Make things intresting. I command the living Dungeon. I can make the entire floor rigged with mines or make the walls cave in. I also decide how much damage attacks do, how stuff reacts when you interact with it, and decide when you die.
RULES:
No godmodding No mary-sues or gary-stus (google it if you don't understand.) No cheating. To show me you read my post, put blargh after your CS. If you want to tame a monster, you must say how, and ask the monster owner's permission. No controlling other people's characters. IF YOU DIE, YOU DIE. MAKE ANOTHER CHARACTER. No hate. Nothing too modern, this is a medieval setting, no guns.
Adventurer CS Name: Class:(Warrior, Mage, Archer, Druid, Necromancer, etc.): Race:(only rule is that it must be able to use weapons and be bi-pedal) Inventory(3 items max): Intresting traits: Weaknesses:(atleast 3):
Monster CS Name: Species:(Dragon, minotaur, gorgon, hydra, werewolf, anything that can be killed!): Powers:(minimum of 3, Max of 6): Tamablity:(either yes or no): Intelligence( Dragons would be a 10, Wormtunnelers would be a 0): Diet:(usually adventurers):
Adventurer CS Name: Ancalagon
Class:(Warrior, Mage, Archer, Druid, Necromancer, ect.): Warrior/Mage(dragon traits)
Race:(only rule is that it must be able to use weapons and be bi-pedal): Axylian Drake (humanoid dragon)
Inventory(3 items max): Nothing.
Intresting traits: Can do anything, can control anything. I mean ANYTHING. He can turn a stick into a gigantic diamond, he can mind control, he can shoot fire, ANYTHING. However, he is a child of the dungeon, and only comes down to dish out punishment or to help the adventurers with a particularly tough puzzle.
Weaknesses:(atleast 2): None. Umad? |

weaknesses:(atleast 3):
Why does everyone require that your character be as weak as heck? I mean, seriously. You should be able to have free range in your character, not have to make your character 'afraid of heights, horrible at athletics, dumb', and only have one advantage being 'he can swing a sword'. Sick and tired of that, and it's really unfair to the players.
I would have joined if I didn't see that. |

Well, if it bothers you that much, I'll change it. I mean, it isn't really a major factor in the RP...
Adventurer CS Name: Class:(Warrior, Mage, Archer, Druid, Necromancer, etc.): Race:(only rule is that it must be able to use weapons and be bi-pedal) Inventory(3 items max): Intresting traits: Weaknesses:(atleast 1):
I was thinking of three minor weaknesses, such as them not liking insects, or not liking water, or whatever. It can be 1, but then it actually has to mean something.

There is a large, stone arch blocked off by a forcefield. Lining the top of the arch are 5 glass orbs. For each person that joins, an orb will light up. When all 5 are lit, the door will open and you may enter the dungeon.
Floor: Lobby
Environment: Forest
Hazards: None...yet... |

@gwebster2
Don't even start that again. If you're here to RP, RP, if not, leave. We don't need to get into another unnecessary power struggle.
Both monsters accepted, but we can't get things started without adventurers. |

I'm gonna add a weakness to him too to balance it out:
Weakness: He's afraid of objects like mirrors than shows his reflection. Because if no-one looks in his eyes directly, nothing happens.
Also, what's the intelligence of a human? |

@Techmaggs
Whatever you want it to be. Obviously it can't be 10 because that's a smart as a dragon, average intelligence would probably be about 5 or 6 |

Unfortunately, derp is too dumb to send the signal from his eyes to his brain telling him to turn to stone.
He collides with you. |

| (Also, just a heads up, I'm probably not going to let you turn most monsters into stone/water/lava in the future, so you might want to think about a couple other powers.) |

I draw my handy dagger and stab the beast in its stomach while it wrestles with me. |

THE COLOSSUS OF THE DEPTHS EMERGES FROM THE FIERY HELL HOLE AND IS CHARGING THE ATTACK THAT IS ABOUT TO DESTROY THE DUNGEON
You: *Turns him to water*) |
