Intro
“The year is... wait. The year is... The year is... I can’t remember what the year is. I can’t remember what the month is either, or the day. I’m lost, I’m utterly lost, I don’t know what to do. Wait. Yes that’s what happened yes. Well tell them then. The ship, the CSC Scout-ship “Light the path” suddenly found itself under attack. That’s it, I remember. We were scanning this new system. We saw it was habitable, good place for a colony. So we left a nav-beacon there and started for home, Outpost “Siegfried line” it was called, yes that’s right. So after we started off home something happened. I can’t remember what. All I remember is that afterwards people turned crazy. Oh no, they started screaming and turning on each other and killing. Then... Then...” a crashing sound is heard over the comm and a scream is heard followed my some rather unpleasant slashing and tearing sounds.
Rules and makeshift FAQ
This is a horror survival RP. Your characters are very vulnerable in this role-play.
Don’t complain if you get killed.
There are four character classes, one of each.
You can only have one character.
All attack, defence or actions of any kind are decided by dice rolls which I will do and communicate these results in the role-play.
Stick to the Roblox posting rules.
When posting consists of an action I will determine the success of that action with dice rolls and predefined parameters.
Please note this is the beta version of this role-play so any ironing out of bugs will be done here.
What I say goes.
The roleplay is future-based, keep that in mind.
No, you cannot be an admin.

Spots on this role-play are first come first serve.
Try to use your imagination and out of the box thinking to survive. You will most likely be rewarded for it as I’ve gone to great effort to make all the “rooms” filled with opportunities to gather supplies.
The CSC “Light the path” is a Confederation of Ordered Species vessel. Races are Raptor, Vulpanar, Jelitilion and Human. No specific bonuses will be added for the Beta except for the customisation of events to race specific traits. I.E A species will not do better at a certain class than another species, it's purely 'cosmetic'.
Consequently if you wish to play an alien character and want specifics of that race feel free to message me about it.
Consequently your characters have no memory anyway so your knowledge of the alien races would be superficial anyway
Your character does not have any equipment on them at the start of the role-play. You will have to acquire items along the way.
Your character doesn’t have many memories, all skills that they do are more instinctual than remembering what to do in that situation. Keep this in mind during the RP.
You read the rules, put 'yay' at the end of your cs.
Beta Notes
What do I mean when I say Beta? Well I'm just trying this out to see if it will work. This roleplay IS joinable. I shall need members to help me test the roleplay mechanics I've built into it. Feel free to join but be warned that the mechanics behind this are experimental and therefore I will be requesting feedback as to how the experience goes.
Due to confusion stats will now be determined randomly instead of by a "point" system.

Added races for cosmetic and roleplaying purposes.
Alright enough of that, on with the roleplay.
Quick intro on mechanics
Almost every action on this roleplay will be decided on dice rolls. I have a complete sheet as to what succeeds and what fails. I will be rolling the dice and will post whether you succeed on your action or not. You will also get stat modifiers at the start of the game which will improve your chance of success.
Here is a rundown on what stats govern what action.
Strength: Determines how hard a character can hit. Determines other strength related rolls like shooting.
Agility: Determines if a character can evade an attack. Determines is a character can remain undetected.
Will: Determines how well a character can cope with the situation. If a will roll is failed then the character loses a turn until a successful roll is made. Most encounters need the success of a will roll. If a double 1 is rolled then the character may lose his mind.
Skill: Determines how good a character is at their job or role. For security officers the skill and strength modifier is used when shooting or attacking.
Survival Instinct: Determines all room explanation results. Determines how well a character knows creatures. If an instinct roll is successfully made when encountering a creature then that character gets a modifier to all evade chances.
All characters have 20 "health points".
Classes
Doctor: Can stabilise characters from bleeding out if they are incapacitated and treat wounds.
Security: Most effective in combat. Combines skill and strength dice when using projectile weapons such as guns.
Technician: Can repair, hack and create electronic systems from parts that can be gathered at the various failing mechanisms on the CSC "Light the path".
Officer: Can add buffs to the other classes. Once a fight the officer can add another dice to one of the squad's attack or defence rolls increasing his chance of success. During combat the officer can use his skill roll to rally a panicked squadmate. An officer can also add another dice to a squadmate's non-combat skill roll every so often, increasing his chance of success.
CS: I suggest you keep a copy in a word document and apply any modifiers to your stats that come up along your adventure. It will be easier to keep a track of it that way.

His hair is a dirty blonde, and his hair is a long, messy ball of hair. He has a large scar across his forehead. His eyes are small, and an ugly gray color. He has freckles all over his face that aren't too spaced from each other. He has a small outline of a moustache above his upper lip. His teeth are a bit yellowish. His face is almost square-like. He wears a blue jacket that is torn and worn out. Its zipper is almost loose. His jeans are a coal black, and at his knees are bloodstains and at his ankles is where the jeans are ripped. His shoes however have stayed normal. He wears red converse. Personality: He's pretty shy, but if you get to know him, he's friendly. Bio: The only thing he remembers is that his dad was killed in a cave-in accident. "yay" |

Appearance: She has bright, piercing green eyes, which usually look as though she is in deep thought. She has dark, blonde hair, that is cut short, and is about at the length of her shoulders. Her bangs are simply cut, and just simply hand across the right side of her face. She is averagely built, standing at a medium height; around 5' 4", and being slightly thin.
She wears a simple pair of jeans, which flair out by the bottom, and a light green belt. Her shirt is a simple black, with the phrase "Look to the stars" on it. Her shoes are a simple pair of white tennis shoes.
Personality: Jessi tends to be slightly shy, but can get very outspoken, and sometimes rude, when someone mouths off to another or people fight.

Appearance: He has light blue eyes, little bit of freckles on his face. White teeth. He is around 5'6 tall and has scruffy dark brown hair which slightly covers his eyes. He has gold ear rings. He wears Grey Jacket which is slighty too big for him which covers over a white shirt. He has grey dirty jeans which are slightly ripped down to his Nike blue and red shoes. His laces are always untied.
Personality: Quite fussy and loud, He is usaully nice unless you hurt him in anyway possible.
