Hi, I use scite for programming in LUA, and I need to know how to make a new window pop up. Regular Lua is different from ROBLOX Lua. Any help?

| Hi there, I don't think anyone understands your request. Do you mean you want to create a GUI? |

No - I am not programming in ROBLOX. I am programming in real Lua. I was hoping there were some advanced users that knew regular lua - I need a WINDOW for a game THAT IS NOT IT ROBLOX.
Thanks.

There is no real Lua. Lol, what the heck is that?
As for your question, you got it all wrong. You don't use Lua to make a window pop up. If you want to do that, you would have to define your classes in a C language and Haskell, compile it, then you are able to make a window pop up with Lua.
But you can't do that with Lua. That's not what its purpose is for. It's a SCRIPTING LANGUAGE dude.
Plus, scITE won't do that. If you want to make stuff like that, I would download LOVE2D engine. That application has predefined functions and methods for you to make a window pop up.

I meant...Urg
Well, I got a little too carried away :P Let's just say though, Lua can't be as powerful as using those computer languages first.
I bet this is still vague... |
