"The mark of the immature man is that he wants to die nobly for a cause, while the mark of the mature man is that he wants to live humbly for one."
To translate this it means the 'immature' man hopes to gather fame, money, and power through attention seeking or some other means while the 'mature' man will teach and if fame, money, and power come with it it is merely a perk, not something he strives for.
