So much less stress than high school. (coming from someone who went to one of the most rigorous middle schools in my state, so don't say that your middle school was "so hard") |

I'm in 8th grade and going to high school next year. Middle school is a breeze right now and 8th grade is the easiest grade.

@mikey
I hate the negative exponents. It's kinda confusing since for example:
-8^3
The answer isn't 512 even though the calculator says it is. It's -512 because the math teacher says it's -1*8*8*8.

@IceKing
My teacher taught me that anything to the -x power is one over the number EXAMPLE:
Simplify
2^-3 = 1 - 2^3 = 2^3 = 8

-8 x -8 = 64 because 2 negatives = positive then 64 x -8 = -512 |

| I don't miss middle school. Good riddance. High school is fun. Middle school is boring. |

@Zegion
Yeah, I caught onto that quick. My teacher made up something to help us remember how to multiply and divide positive and negative integers. Good Guy Coming to Town = Good 2 + 2 = 4
Or -2 + -2 = 4 because Bad Guy + Leaving Town = Good
Or -2 + 2 = -4 because Bad Guy + Coming To Town = Bad ~And then Cosmonius tripped on a bug~ |

I am. I think I'm learning a year ahead because I really don't understand some of it. But I found GCF and prime factorization easy and pretty fun.

I know an easier way to learn integers by my math teacher last year:
Negative x Negative = Positive Positive x Positive = Positive Positive x Negative = Negative Negative x Positive = Negative
