-My [Mx] Exam- I direct all of my gratitude towards Kewldude2548, poisonlava, Vaulcon, & Metsfan2009 for encouraging me to put forth my finest effort towards achieving this status. 1] Q: You see to members arguing over their ranks. One is an Officer named "Officer," and one is a Vanguard, named "Vanguard." Van has been working for his rank for weeks, and Officer is bragging about his rank. What would you do to settle the argument?
A: Instinctively, being unable to do much seeing as I would have been a lesser rank than the two, I would have contacted the Director of Justice. If, however, I were a more superior rank, I would have endeavored to resolve it myself. Still, I would have informed the DoJ, I’d just be giving him less to deal with.
2] Q: You are a High Council and an allied clan's leader tries to pay you to admin attack. How do you react?
A: To immediately inform a HR. Nothing more, nothing less. Nothing in this situation needs to be settled by me other than notifying one of the superiors. No one other than the superiors needs to know either. My first response would be to ignore it. However if this was done, the leader may have chosen someone more vulnerable & gullible to do the attack. Therefore, contacting a HR is probably the most efficient way to deal with the situation.
3] Q: hacker1leo asks you to join a rebellion against the president of UCR. What do you do? Why?
A: Equivalent to my previous answer, I would have dealt with the situation by contacting a HR. The reason I would do this is because, if hacker1leo were to try & persuade any others to join, chances are the result may not end well. Although, hacker1leo doing this verifies he is irresponsible & immature, giving him a disadvantage at being able to recruit a great deal of rebels. Even so, you can never be too cautious.
4] Q: Say you need to quickly assemble a good decent raid, and train soldiers in a few minutes. What steps do you take to teach them on such short notice? Why?
A: I’d try & congregate multiple HR’s to host in separate servers so that members may be trained & lack having difficulties with a mass lag, arguments, etc. I’d also attempt to send a decent sized wave of troops into each server [never sending less troops then there are raiders] to side track the opponent, not hurl the whole clan out at once. If this is done, troops are able to be trained without being pressured. Pressure means hesitation, & that is one thing UCR does not consist of. You hesitate, you perish. End of story.
5] Q: A friend Dudeshark asks you to nominate him, but you think that he would not make a good Senator. Do you help him? If so, how do you help? If not, how would you tell him you don't want to? Why?
A: I would not nominate him immediately, although it is in my best effort to help him qualify for the position he is in need for. No one lacks the disability to succeed, no matter his/her disadvantages towards skill, knowledge, or whatever it might be. Hence, yes I would aid him. Never would I simply say “no” to one in need. In order for successfulness, necessities must be reached.
6] Q: What qualities would TheEvidence look to see from someone who wants to become a medium rank? Why?
A: Let me put it this way. High ranks are “the best of the best”. In order to qualify as “the best of the best”, you must first achieve being “the best”. This requires leadership. Leadership, as you may know, requires discipline, skill, a great deal of knowledge, & friendliness. If you cannot conquer these four necessities, you cannot be a “great” leader. It does not require much to be a “good” leader. But a “great” leader, that’s what is most important. That’s the star you need to shoot for. Not only will these four necessities get you to being a medium rank, but they can, and will, carry you beyond just being “medium”. 7] Q: You are at Sword Fighting Tournament and you see a guy, Johnnyfry, who is doing really well. After talking to him, you find out that he is not in any clans, and you decide to recruit him. Describe how you would try to get him to join UCR.
A: Because I cannot define UCR as well as the recruitment guide can, I’d probably private message him the link to it, & then, because it wouldn’t hurt, keep explaining to him more detailed information about the clan. The more he knows the better & the more likely he is to join. I’ve never met someone who if I’ve explained to them what UCR is & what we’re all about [yes I have done this before], has not join afterwards. Once Johnnyfry has joined the clan, I would host a practice training just for him, & give him a taste of UCR itself [I would not do this if he wasn’t all THAT skilled, for I’d probably be wasting my time while I could be training dozens of other members instead]. If he had any questions about how active we are, any group guide’s or manuals, etc, I’d answer them as best as I could & as detailed as possible.
8] Q: If you were a high rank, what action would you take to help the lower ranks of UCR? Reflect upon your experiences as a lower rank in your response to this question.
A: As a low rank, my favorite thing about trainings was how friendly the HR’s were, & at the same time, how much bad behavior they didn’t tolerate. They were always there to answer my questions, & I never disliked any HR’s. I would definitely reflect their actions onto my own when training LR’s. I wouldn’t go so hard on them, since they’re not as tough as they seem. Some are, some aren’t, but they’re beginners, & they don’t deserve to be treated how more experienced, upper ranks are treated. Of course this will change over time, yes. Because to think if I was treated that roughly when I joined UCR? Well, I wouldn’t be where I am now, would I? Nope. :]
9] Q: You are reading some of the forum posts and you come across an enemy soldier who is making fun of UCR. What do you do in this situation? Why?
A: This is just me, but I would ignore it. It’s not like he can really harm us. We are better than them, & we don’t go around making fun of some others’ clans [most of us]. We’re mature & we should avoid such horrible actions. I may or may not inform a higher rank, but it doesn’t seem as if it would be worth their time, & I wouldn’t dare risk it.
10] Q: TheEvidence is holding a meeting at UCR Command Center Maggiore, but he has to go sell some cows and will be back in 30 minutes. You are the highest ranked member there, but not a high rank. What will you do to make sure the meeting doesn't get out of hand while TE is gone?
A: Considering the situation would be okay since I would have been given permission to host the training, things would not have blow up in my face. Although, just to be safe, I would contact another HR & ask if they’d be willing to temporarily host the training until TE returned, just so that wouldn’t mess anything up. Of course, I’m do very well at hosting trainings, & to me it seems like the sort of thing that HR’s do for fun, even though it’s clearly more than that.
11] Q: TheEvidence accidentally leaves UCR, and HippieVanz, a RAT Admiral, takes UCR. He declares that he will not give it back to TE, and that he will run UCR from now on. You are a Senator, elected last week. What do you do? Why?
A: First off, I’d definitely be sure to contact RAT HR’s and notify them on what’s going on, knowing that they wouldn’t tolerate the situation and would probably exile him. Second, I’d contact ROBLOX HQ & try and let them solve the problem. There’s not much HR’s can do to the leader of a group. All they can do is make sure the lower ranks know what’s going on, & maybe contact other allied groups as well, so that they could at least try to help.
12] Q: joshybro22 gives you an assignment to do, but he is a lower rank than you. Can you think of any circumstance under which it would be best for you to listen to him?
A: If he’s a much lower rank than I am, then no, I couldn’t, other than if he was ordered to instruct others to do so by a HR. If he wasn’t much lower than me, then of course I’d listen, it’s all about respect. If you respect, you’ll be respected, most of the time. Those who do not respect their fellow members are not loyal to UCR. No one likes a disrespectful member. Therefore, yes I would definitely listen to him, & others should too.
13] Q: When spreading your ideas to help UCR, how would you gain support, and execute it? What would you suggest as an idea to fix up UCR a little more?
A: UCR is successfully hosting plenty of well-organized trainings a day, and has great leadership & directorship. The one thing we need now the most are bases & more members. To gain support on my idea(s), I’d create a forum, & post a link to the group wall or shout, then ask if anyone supported my idea(s), & if not, what needed to be added or deducted. Never should you execute support, just simply modify the advice down to what you think fits your idea(s) best.
14] Q: You go to ORION for a training, and Council Metsfan2009 tells you and other members of the same rank as you to get in line and not to speak. Some of the other members aren't listening to Mets. Will you continue to follow Mets' order to be quiet or will you scold the disobedient members? Why?
A: I would continue to follow Mets’ order, because Mets is a trained & very intelligent HR & he knows what to do in situations like that. Scolding the others would just make it harder on him, & then he’d just end up trying to get me to hush. Always follow a HR’s orders, no matter how silly they may seem. If you have a problem with it, message a different HR after you do what you are asked.
15] Q: Describe yourself realistically, as you are now. Then describe what you want to be a month, a year from now. What is your motivation?
A: I am one who enjoys pushing himself until he does something right. I enjoy succeeding goals that are beyond my own standards. I enjoy being friendly to others, & listening to what they have to say when they feel like they need to be listened to. I feel as if in a month, I could push myself to be even more than what I am now. I know I can go beyond the expectations most of you HR’s have of me, & I know that in a month or so, I will have achieved as much as I was going for, if not more. When I set a goal, I push & push until I can’t push any longer, & then I don’t just fall flat on my face, I pull. If I don’t make my goal by the time limit I wanted to make it by, I keep going. I don’t give up, & neither should anyone else. My motivation is to not stop, ever. Not once will I just quit & give up. I’ve gone too far to stop now, & stopping won’t make a difference. I just hope that everyone else looks at UCR as I do, & that they too, have high expectations of themselves & know that they can achieve what they work for [note: what they WORK for, you don’t get rewarded for standing on a line & being quiet].
16] Q: What matters more - your rank or your loyalty? Is it better to be a fiercely loyal Intermediate or a disloyal Senator? Why? Would you give up trying in UCR if you failed this exam?
A: Loyalty is what makes a clan powerful. I know plenty of people in other groups, who are disliked because they were once loyal to their clan. Then once they became a HR, they started hating everyone. Why would you do such a thing? I know that I’d rather respect a loyal L1 than a grouchy, immature Officer. If you’re a LR, but you’re loyal to your clan, there’s nothing to envy on other ranks’ behavior or leadership. Not everyone is a leader, but everyone is a follower. Even Chuck Norris had a teacher once. Anyways, if I did somehow fail this exam, I wouldn’t feel terribly bad. I earned where I am now, & I’m glad to be in my position. I’d love being a higher rank so that I may be able to coach other members to become as loyal and dedicated to the group as they should be, but if L8 is where I must be, L8 is where I’ll stay. I will not leave.
17] Q: Would it be easier for YOU, specifically, to lead members through fear or by example? Why?
A: It’d be easier for me to lead others by example. I would lead through fear and disciplinary some of the time, but mostly through coaching & demonstrating how to do things. I know from past experience, that I did not like being yelled at by higher ranks, & I know that my fellow members didn’t either. I feel they need to learn how to make use of the things they already know exist, but make them into something more valuable. This goes for abstract utilities as well. I feel as if I educate UCR members through friendliness, demonstration, & productiveness, they’ll learn to have a better understanding of the world around them.
18] Q: Why are there exactly 18 questions on this exam?
A: There are exactly 18 questions on this exam because you thought it would be fun to match the number of exam questions to the number of available ranks there are to reach in UCR. Not sure just a guess because it's a weird question. :]
