Here are some reforms to the U.S electoral system I would like to see:
1:popual vote, not electoral college.
2:any future amendments to the constitution be voted on by referendum.
3:similar to pairlementary systems, the congress can enact a vote of no confidence, which if enough of the congress agrees to (75-80%) will have a re election instantly. |

| I agree, in the case of an electoral/popular vote split, our power is taken away from American people and put into the hands of state electors. Our democracy was founded on the principles of states' rights, and the beliefs of "one person, one vote". However, this goes completely against vital American values - even if the chance of a split happening is rare. |
