CoD is shovelware, the same playing rubbish released every year. So actually it is the horribly repetitive game series.
Also learn that it's 'too' and not 'to' and how to spell repetitive. |

Activision is the publisher, not the developer.
CoD is a great game, just overrated with a horrid community. |

CoD is hugely overated.
Anyone who says Halo is repetitive clearly knows nothing about games.
Halo redefined the modern shooter, can CoD say that? No.
It may be the biggest selling shooter around, that doesn't make it good.
Bottom line, it's a casual arcade shooter. Aka the epitome of repetitiveness. |

The irony of this post.
In halo you only shoot eachother. In CoD you require skill (reflexes and quick aiming and getting the feel and such)
3 and 4 are not even arguments. |

In CoD, you need reaction time. There is no skill, a 3 year old can play it, oh wait, 3 year olds do.
In Halo you need the right weapon, terrain, armor power, approach and tactic.
In CoD, weapons do not matter, the terrain is just urban building or flat bit of grey, there are no armor powers, the only approach is kill the other guy before you kill him or going a different way around the map. Which is not tactics.
No 3 and 4 are not arguments, they are statements. |

Not really. No, not at all.
Halo has always been about huge scale and choice, take the two scarabs on the level "The Covanent" that's two huge enemies to fight on a massive set piece, right now you're thinking "Whoa how am I gonna fight that?" right then a tank comes along. Why not use the tank? Then two warthogs come along with two different weapons mounted. Choose a warthog maybe? Then hornets land, Why not take the fight to the air? There's some ghosts driving around, why not board one? A marine with a rocket launcher is mounted on a mongoose, you could drive him around and kill the scarabs. Or if you really want to, you can attack it on foot.
Sandboxes like these make Halo, and it's something CoD can never claim to have.
Say whatever you want, CoD, at it's best is a linear shooter with some very big bangs and a lot of shouting. Halo at it's best is the greatest sandbox you'll ever play.
That's why it's the king, no exceptions. |

Bungie invented the sandbox shooter.
Ask any critic or industry expert, it's a sandbox game.
It's smaller than ARMA, but still a sandbox. |

I'm a Halo fan but... 1. You shoot stuff in Halo too. They both have well thought out story lines, they're just ridiculously short. 2. Aim, shoot. Very hard, amirite? 3. Bungie isn't even developing the game anymore.

| At the end of the day, in both games you're killing someone or something. |

"the only approach is kill the other guy before you kill him or going a different way around the map. Which is not tactics."
This is extremely biased. That's only Kill Confirmed and Deathmatch. Have you played any of the objective based gamemodes? Probably no, because tactics and teamwork are put into them. |

1. Uh yeah it is a shooting game after all 2. They are both pretty casual games to be honest but that doesnt make them bad. 3. What so your saying a developer is better at making games than a publisher? Wow your smart mommy should get you a golden star. 4. What story all your "reasons" were pretty weak sauce. |
