| Discuss the possibility of this; an FPS with two copies of the same map. On one, you play on. The other copies each players exact movements and creates a clone player on the second map, and its about 5 seconds behind. When someone gets killed, it just shows you the camera of the killer on the SECOND map and you watch it for 5 seconds. |

| I really don't see where the lag could come from, does the game lag with 30 people? Not really, so how would 15*2 be that much worse? |

| It's a good idea if you have a stationary map. Make that map a long long way away (or even local, but this might not work well) and then just put in the characters and bullets. |

| I can foresee the killcam code hogging absurd amounts of memory and speed, but it would definitely be possible if you weren't using it along with other big scripts. |

Or just use the time-travel method by delaying bullet speed and quickly calculating if its a kill or not. Then, the camera shows to the character (both characters are still not dead and are immune to damage) and the bullet "slows down".
This could be used by raycasting and blockmeshes in that raycasting would be calculated earlier and the blockmeshes or the actual parts are not present until the script finds out if you would be dead or not...
Gee I find it hard to communicate my ideas.

That's actually a good idea.
And Roblox support for IE10 isn't great...
Ah but it has spellchecker :D
Plus some weird metro stuff I haven't got used to yet. |

| Or even just for "photos" instead of using the extremely expensive and bad looking raycasting solutions. And, technically, these can also be saved with data persistence. |

^ BRILLIANT IDEA!
Every time you get killed, take a picture from the point of view of your killer and then save it so you have a library of you being killed!
Wait, it would be better for that to be for times you have killed somebody. |

| I cannot follow Candymaniac's post lmao. Maybe cuz I'm a newb who doesn't really know what these "time-travel" methods are exactly. |

@ess:
Let me rephrase that:
We don't have the API to take screenshots.

@sckum;
Basically, when you shoot a gun, the raycast hits the person first, determines if he would die or not. If he would NOT die, the gun fires as normal and the bullet is shown. If he WOULD die, the victim's camera would point to you and your walkspeeds are slowed down, and the bullet's blockmesh coroutine is slowed down, giving the effect of slow motion killing.

| You can make it lower/higher quality out of bricks. Higher because more PPI but lower because limited colour, but that can be fixed with meshes. So, you can make a perfect rendering in 3D instead of laggy GUIs. |

I want to see how one takes a perfect screenshot.
The lowest part size is .2, .2,.2, therefore it wouldn't be too accurate.
