| Why not? The Silverbacks have GREAT support, and I believe this is Numbero Tres on our list for possible MLS expansion cities. The Hispanic population in Atlanta is high, and that is a good thing. With that, it is possible to get the MLS offices attention and yell in their ears: WE WANT THE 20TH MLS TEAM. Atlanta is the largest TV market without a MLS franchise, and if Don Garber decides to expand to Atlanta, do you know what that means? Higher Nielsen ratings, more merchandise sold, and more money made. Atlanta is a great option as to where to place a franchise. The Silverbacks have a great amount of people showing up to matches, and if we can manage to either expand Silverbacks Park, or build a completely new stadium in Midtown, We, as a city, have got that 20th team. |

You didn't back up your statement.
Atlanta=Greater (hispanic) population Atlanta Silverbacks=Even though they lose a lot, they get a very high amount of people to show up to games anyway Atlanta=More people, more TV ratings (and better)
Please tell me why Miami should get the team instead of Atlanta. |

Atlanta doesn't get TV exposure for soccer. So your statement is invalid.
WE HAVE TONS of money and free open stadiums, a great tourism area and a pretty decent hispanic and non-hispanic soccer watching culture.

Regardless of what you say. IF the team is winning then they get support.
That goes for every area.

I would say that soccer has to be the third biggest sport in Atlanta.
There are also 5-10 times MORE soccer fields in Atlanta than there are any other sport.
Miami is a good place for soccer, but I wouldn't give it to them. |

this is why the only support in Miami are the heat and your soccer team. Everything else sucks
