Using Fiddler, you can grab the GET request that the game sends to tell the site you're in a game. You can take that request and execute it yourself, so the site thinks you're in a server.
This GET request uses a special game place ID, so you can't grab any ID and use it. It's also not possible to use it on others, unless you grab their cookie I think.
I believe you can also block this by using Fiddler's AutoResponder, just return *drop (drops the connection) on that specific request. Therefore, Roblox will think you're on the website but you're in a game.
Interesting...
No, I won't abuse this.

There may or may not be an actual use, but maybe you can block the request so people won't find you in a game. I mean even preventing the "Follow" button won't stop people from finding your game server manually.

| You have to physically join the game in order to make it appear that you are in the game. Ideally the game server should be the one notifying the site about who is in game, but meh. |

You do have to join the game to get the place ID, but then you can just execute it yourself and make everyone think you're in a server. Or you can also do what I mentioned above.

You can't really abuse this... The only possible way you could abuse this would be by making yourself appear in a game perpetually, which only works if you are famous (which you are not). |

| Or to make yourself appear in a game perpetually you simply have to lose connection and leave your client running. That's a much simpler solution. |

There may be no actual use for this, but I thought it was interesting enough. I think if you also block a certain request the site sends, you can make the site think you're offline but be in a game (as long as you don't go to a new page). I haven't tested that though.

| Anytime you send a request to a page on roblox.com and a valid .ROBLOSECURITY cookie is attached, you will appear to be online for the next I believe 10 minutes or so. |

Google Dictionary: "abuses plural The improper use of something"
Even the name says it: ab-use. He's not using the system how it should be used, and is therefore abusing it. Whether it harms anything is another thing. It may mislead people and make people think Roblox's system is messed up. Harming something through misuse and just misuse are both valid definitions of 'abuse,' and even splitting the word apart, we can see that. |

If I remember before, the pinger is http://www.roblox.com/Game/KeepAlivePinger.ashx so what if I block that?

Blocking works, I played a round of paintball and apparently I was on the website the whole time.

| That's a nice idea actually, can visit any game without being followed. |

Yeah, I mentioned that earlier. You can now go into a game and not be followed (unless someone is dedicated to search every game), granted you have Windows, Fiddler, and Roblox didn't fix it yet.
