ok yes PC gaming is better for games like skyrim and for FPS games
but PC gaming also has the disadvantage of not coming with a handheld controller for all inputs (although it's still available as a peripheral), and it's also far more solitary
when was the last time you were slouched on the sofa playing half-life with a keyboard and mouse
and when was the last time you got some friends together to crowd round your monitor to play split-screen CoD on the PC |

also, racing games
they are awful if you're using a keyboard
feathering the throttle is a lot easier when you're just holding down a trigger slightly less rather than violently tapping the up/w key |

| PC is better for Indie games, console is better for multiplayer. Unless you play online, then PC is probably better. |

PC is better for a local area network multiplayer, like Minecraft has. It wasn't made for two players. Consoles are. Also most computers are compatible with a joystick.

| i'd still think pc is more convenient but it doesnt really matter anyway, it's all personal input. |

@Dragoon Get a driving wheel then.
But if a computer would be controller only. You know the rest, typing will be slow as hell. |

"when was the last time you were slouched on the sofa playing half-life with a keyboard and mouse"
well
i pretty much slouch back in my chair every day
it's quite comfy, a lot comfier than a couch in my opinion
but, one of them is not better than the other unless you start comparing specs, in which case the pc wins
either way, play and let play |

| How many times have you done schoolwork on a console? How many times have you played a flight simulator on a console? How many times have you played 64 player online on console? |

"How many times have you done schoolwork on a console?"
not exactly relevant when we are talking about strictly for gaming
"How many times have you played a flight simulator on a console?"
really doesn't matter when not everyone enjoys them

| I dont enjoy joypads as much as keyboard & mouse combo, im just trying to show OP here that he cant put console gaming and PC gaming on the same line atleast not with this criteria. |

I don't enjoy CoD or Need for Speed
So I play TF2 on my PC. |

for racing games/ specifically hard games (like dark souls), if I get them for pc, i just use my ps3 controler with DS3 motion tool (allows for ps3 controllers to work on pc)
really, both are good in different things, and i'm tired of "LOL X IS BETTER" "NO Y IS BETTER" "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" |

| I think for some games, including Racing games, you can plug-in a controller, like a xBox 360 controller compatible with PC |

| All games actually, you can use 3rd party software if the game doesnt support it. |
