I would want a zombie survival game that is as realistic as possible, without making it too easy. (ie, in a completely realistic zombie survival game the military would simply take care of it and the zombies would be insanely underpowered)
Preferably, a complete map of Europe. (I think Europe would be more entertaining that the U.S., more cultures to go through and what-not, but a complete map of the U.S. (and possibly areas of Canada and Mexico) would suffice)
It would probably be completely text-driven for talking, as that broadens modding capabilities. It also allows all characters to address you by name. (If they know it)
Probably no main story, simply open-world survival.
Building would probably be similar to The Sims (in the top-down aspect), but more broad and buildings would need to be structurally safe. (or at least as close as it can get without making things too complicated in terms of getting materials)
Characters would be completely random. (the text-driven speech helps with this, no two characters would have the same voice) Everything, from attitude to stats.
Stats would probably be something close to the S.P.E.C.I.A.L. system. Probably have a little background story type quiz at character creation which would change stats. Stats would also change afterward as certain things are done in the game. In example, building would increase Strength. Parkour would increase agility. Reading (at least Educational things) would increase Intelligence, and what-not. Luck probably would be excluded however.
Skills would probably have the same effect as stats. A quiz in the beginning helps moderate this at first, and doing actions in-game will increase (or possibly decrease, if left out of practice long enough) them.
Skills would be something like the following:
Combative: Firearms Melee Archery Explosives Martial (or Hand-To-Hand)
Non-combative: Construction Weapon Making (Possibly a different name) Medicine Surgery (Yes, completely different than medicine) Cooking Hunting Trapping Fishing Looting/Scavenging Salvaging Foraging (Finding food and water in the wild, essentially) Sewing Parkour/Acrobatics Storage (May seem useless, but as I said as realistic as possible, proper food storage is needed) Bushcrafting (Essentially making things from wild materials) Farming Riding (Whether it be animal or vehicle) Persuasion
Entertainment: Writing Theatre Music Cards Reading (Essentially would decrease time it takes to read, reading giving bonuses to skills depending on book)
Entertainment would be a vital part of the game, just like hydration, hunger and sleep. If you have no entertainment odds are your morale is going to lower, which would lower your chances of wanting to survive. Of course, if your character has family (which could be possible), odds are that would be motivation enough.
I would hope there would be enough items to fit nearly infinite scenarios. From going back to medieval weaponry (Chainmail + Claymores/Longswords/Etc) to going 21st Century Military on the zombies.
I honestly can't really think of anything else that would need to be said for this. |

Metroid Fusion, Prime style.
Basically, you play the game in 3D, in FPS, with a scan visor, changeable beams, and you no longer need to charge a beam in order to harm a boss. Uses Prime's fusion suit model. |

Morrowind without the Cliff Racers.
It would also be nice to get rid of the headache-inducing flaws that poke their ugly heads in games like this. |

Destiny I, To put it simply, it's morrowind with a epic combat system, with additional features like:
-Dynamic world, nothing will be the same if you sleep for days on end, towns might be ravaged by dragons, or raided by bandits.
-A crafting system in which you will actually be able to gather materials from the world around you and use them, for instance, if you killed a dragon, you'd be able to use it's scales and it would make a great sword material, on the other hand, if you used wood, then it wouldn't be so great of a sword, at all.
-A good pet system.
-Online battles.
-etc.
I would find that as my ideal game, it would be a great game if you ask me. |

I want a sci-fi open-world FPS/RPG focused on vertical level design and a destruction system, with Thief-style stealth/stealing and Deus Ex: Human Revolution-style shooting.
How hard is that to do?

The Slender City
You have to survive in the Slender City, where Slender could be anywhere, even in your breakfast. Slender could pop anywhere, so this is dangerous. Also, Slender would look scarier.
He'd have no head AT ALL! |

@Re- His name is Slenderman, alternatively spelled Slender Man. Also, he terrifies me enough as-is, and there's no need to break the mythology just to make him "look scarier". |

OP pretty much has a similar idea to me.
Genre: FPS, Stratergy, Horror, Survival.
Basically the player starts in a desolate city occupied by zombies, survivors, bandits and occasionally military. The city would be relativity big, perhaps the size of a Just Cause 2 map, or bigger. Completely urban with elements of rivers or perhaps coastline or countryside.
You start of in a random location with nothing, you must scavenge for items whilst trying to avoid various zombies and bandits. You would have to tend to things like Hunger, Thirst, Health and Fatigue meaning you would have to find places to rest. The game is majorly first person.
When you gain supplies you will pick up survivors, you must offer these survivors something if they are to join you. Such as food, water, supplies, guns or a place to live. When you gain around 5 survivors you can group them, from here you can order them to do missions such as clearing zombies or scavenging, or even take out bandits.
When you have around 20 survivors you can start a Base, securing any zone you wish and using supplies to build a zombie/bandit proof fortress. Or you can just occupy a secure building. Supplies range from guns such as hunting rifles or shotguns, to military grade such as assault rifles and LMG's, or things like metal, wood and wire to help build fortifications or buildings, which are entirely customisable using a module system.
When you have around 50 people you can start a faction, this allows you to wage war with bandit factions or set up other bases, you can still order people around to do tasks for you, or even accompany them. Each missions has a risk factor based on the area, amount of zombies, environmental hazards (IE floodwaters or collapse) or bandits. This continues until you either have the whole city under your control, bandits and zombies will still spawn howver, or you simply die and your team gets wiped out.
This game would be online and it would be separate from your single player, it would have all the features of SP with the added bonus of other people roaming around.
Additional Notes: -Vehicles are drivable and can be armoured, you could have a zombie death bus with flamethrowers if you wanted. -Weapons are customisable, Aesthetically and practicality. -You are customisable, you can choose your appearance and starter clothing, you can pick up more in the game. -Randomly generated items. Things wont be in the same place for every game. -Persistent World, say if you crashed a car into a building earlier on in the game, that will stay forever. As will craters, or damaged structures. -Intelligent AI, AI will both be smart on and off hte battlefield, meaning commanders will make moves to prevent you taking certain areas of land, soldiers will use cover or flanking tactics to overwhelm you. -NO DLC, this game will either have free updates or everything in the game will stay that way. -Free online multiplayer, no additional fees. -Probably PC only due to the intensity of this game.
If TL:DR, basically Day Z but insanely better.

Some kind of game where you are part of a huge army of brainwashed people who try to take over the world, but then someone makes you understand that you are brainwashed and you are actually doing the bad, and then you would work for the opposing forces and infiltrate the huge brainwashed army.
It would have completely destructive environment so you could make up complex tactics to make murders look like accidents (i.e shoot a coconut tree so the coconut falls on a soldier sleeping under it, idk.).
There would be an intelligent and much more realistic behavioral system. (Opposition in infiltration games is too [word that ROBLOX won't let me use, but it starts with a R and ends with a D.] for me. Seriously, it's too easy.)
It would also be set in a half-life 2 type dystopian future - perhaps an universe kind of like the seven hour war?
Genre : FPS, Infiltration. |
