C but while all other religions preach perversion, gluttony, earthliness etc. all of the virtues in Christianity are good virtues. If that were true I'd be a god-believing atheist as well (as in, believing in God but refusing to worship his corrupted ways). Besides a few misconceptions, the Bible is filled with agreeable ideas and scientific truths.
Seriously, point out to me where it says something that doesn't make sense in science (apart from land science hasn't covered, including the creation of the universe and the existence of a God) |

god exists, as god is reason, and explanation. god is everything, so is science
science = god

It states that there are as many stars in the universe as there are grains of sand in the desert, while in reality, there are about one septillion stars, which is ten-thousand times more than the number of grains of sand ON EARTH.
Want more? Just ask. |

@Aws
I hope you're kidding or something.
If you're not kidding, you're nitpicking. See, that comparison was used to illustrate the idea that there are more stars than you could count in an entire day. It's not an inaccuracy. How many mundane things are as numerous as grains of sand? AFAIK, grains of sand are the most numerous thing on Earth. Humans didn't have sophisticated math or anything, so grains of sand were the way to go when it came to telling people how many stars there were.

"all of the virtues in Christianity are good virtues."
Have you even glanced at the Old Testament?
"And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth"
And apparently the Earth is flat. |

Oh, what fun.
10(pi)=31.4159234897612735367 or whatever, correct?
This is an invalid argument for the same reason above is. Humans at the time could hardly understand 3 digit decimals, so why waste an entire scroll trying to find the last digit of pi? It'd be useless to people at the time and the complexity would make them feel left out, so it would be best to round it to 30, a number everyone understands.

| If you want to round it to a whole number, 31 would be it. |

That was a time of war, and all of the things like slavery came from men, not from God.
Earth could very well have four corners if you look at it correctly. North, South, East and West. Or maybe the four corners were the dominating civilizations at the time. It doesn't specifically say "Planet Earth". |

The Bible doesn't glorify or encourage it, except in desperate situations when you were the only humans (Adam+Eve, Noah, etc.) |

"That was a time of war, and all of the things like slavery came from men, not from God."
So the bible isn't entirely correct?
"Earth could very well have four corners if you look at it correctly."
Spheres do not have corners. |

Then there's the whole "Earth is the center of the universe" thing.
Oh, and what about contradictions within the Bible? There are a lot of those. |
