1. More than 1-2 playstyles were viable. I went from doing about average one game with what is considered the best gun in the game to going 34-10 with 7 defends and 5 captures with a widely ignored Light Machine Gun (the LSAT fyi)
2. No quickscoping, but snipers are stronger and more satisfying to use as a result. It is possible with custom gamemodes to make a quickscoping gamemode.
3. Less guns with good stats all around. The PDW (considered best gun in the game) for example, has lower damage and rate of fire than any other submachine gun but it has better accuracy and a larger magazine size.
4. The ability to have an actual custom loadout. You can have anything from a primary and no secondary with like 4-5 perks and 2 tactical grenades to no guns at all, 6 perks, and an axe to throw.

| I played this on my friend's 360 earlier, and I found it quite enjoyable. I find it to be mindless fun, really, but not worth picking up at full price, though. I still think the first one is better. |

Yeah. It's definitely a mindless fun game with a low skill ceiling. Once you learn the mechanics you can wipe the floor with the other team one game then struggle to capture a flag the next. That doesn't mean it isn't fun though, I still play it occasionally.

unless there was a patch in the past 17 hours, It's still there. I got an Accidental Quickscope yesterday morning. |

| The campaign is a lot less linear in comparison to previous ones. You can now make your starting weapons a ballistic knife, tomahawk and crossbow if you want. Also has multiple choices and different endings. |

I'm still a little bummed that WaW was the only COD game with Co-Op Campaign.
Black Ops 2 would've been awesome with Co-Op, for the most part. |
