Windows or iOS 10.6 to play games. For some odd reason, kindle's built-in browser is recognized as Safari, but isn't, so I can't attempt to download the ipad launcher. As persistent as I was, I try with a different browser app, it gives me the error about using some unknown OS for roblox. I WILL FIGURE IT OUT
@sorcus the title is not meant to be offensives, or anything like a this vs that thread :) |

| the reason why roblox hates/doesn't care about android is because android is the operating system that people with brains use, and people with brains on roblox are a minority. |

Get fiddler app for iPad, download Roblox, copy via USB to kindle, then run.
Wait..
1. No fiddler app 2. No USB port on iDevices 3. Kindle can't run Apple apps |

Every smartphone industry can use Android. iOS is closed source.
the pro with everyone being able to use android is its larger avaiability. the con is some of them will get to run it on the cheapest hardware possible - totally unable to run roblox at all. |

@sn0x I'm not a fanboy of any company because contrary to popular fanboy belief, companies don't care about fanboys. However, I do enjoy the innovations Apple has done however I notice how competitors surpass their ideas. I think OS X seriously caught up to Windows and is now surpassing it. I want a Mac because they are solid and beautiful computers with a great OS, and also because no other company creates computers as polished as Apple's. I do prefer iPhones over skinned Android devices because custom skins have a tendency to lag and jitter a lot, but stock Android is the way to go. |

Apple's products are more consistent and easier to develop for. Oh and I have an android phone and multiple kindles and I have never spent a single cent on an app. So, yeah, no.

| Mojang, which is probably your "rival", made m1necraft for both apple and android. If you want to catch up, then maybe you should do it too. c: |

| Mobile versions of Minecraft are hardly near completion. Additionally, I'm not sure if Roblox could run on a phone without being very slow. My computer, for example, is only slightly more powerful than the iPhone 5, and it runs a bit slowly in larger places. The screen is another issue, how is the user supposed to see the UI when it's so small? |

Forget Android. No. Quite a lot of devices too slow.
But as for Windows 8 RT....

| Windows is easy to dev for compared to iOS. You can't resist this, Sorcus, especially since Windows 8 and RT will be pushed hard by Microsoft and many companies expanding into the mobile era. |

Doesn't Windows RT only support apps that are made purely in HTML/CSS and Javascript w/ new javascript APIs?
If so, the only way they could do this is to make ROBLOX web based.
As for Android - it is more powerful than iOS. But the problem is that there are simply too many screen sizes, hardware specs, resolutions, etc. to support.
I'm not saying it's impossible, I'm just saying it makes more sense to start on a platform which doesn't have so much diffferent things to take into accounts.
