Last year or so, PSN's network was infiltrated and compromised. It was a huge mess.

| You are blowing the thing a bit out of proportion, yes sony shutdown PSN as a security measure and as far as i know its unknown whether any CC info got compromised. |

I hope it doesn't happen to you. Even if the credit card is saved, it can still be infiltrated. It's happened before and millions of innocent peoples cards were at risk.
