There was another post on C&G saying that UAF went to the third page. And that saddens me, because this isn't what UAF is meant to be. UAF was meant to be a clan acknowledged by everyone to have the best tech and the best people while having a large member count. Right now, I see not so great tech, not so great people and not a large member count. And it's declining. This isn't acceptable, because we all know that UAF doesn't have the brightest future.
I have what it takes to get the clan running again. I know my way around scripting, creating state-of-the-art technology. I have my own vision of UAF, and comparing to what I visualize today, it is nowhere close.
To the ones who might argue with me: If you were here during Infinitive's administration, or Benblue's, or maybe even DiscoHeaven's, you might argue saying that one is better than the other. I've heard a lot of people saying how Infinitive did a better job than Benblue, how Benblue did a better job than DiscoHeaven, so on and so forth. However, we know for a fact that Infinitive created and turned the clan into a superclan, proving his competence. We also know that UAF did grow under Benblue9, proving his competence as well. However, since DiscoHeaven grabbed the clan, I haven't been seeing the brightest future for it and a lot of people would agree with me.
Don't get me wrong, DiscoHeaven is an awesome guy and I can say that because I knew him for a long time. However, he doesn't hold the same vision as I do.
What's my vision? Well, here it is. I want UAF to be the largest clan on Roblox, and settling for any less is unacceptable. I want UAF to be known for its advanced technology, something that WIJ has the title of. However, many scripters and I both agree that the bar should be much higher. I want UAF to have the best members, all while being a large clan. I also want UAF to be fun to raid. Unfriendly clan atmospheres hinder that experience and I have what it takes to reverse that.
DiscoHeaven and the rest of the UAF management: Let me take over the clan. Unlike previous threads I've made, I'm not insulting. I respect UAF's management because they are the ones in charge of the clan that is the most special to me. However, I have a plan ruled out that can turn UAF into something great. This may be the biggest decision you'll ever make on this game, for the clan. You all know I love UAF, and I know you all love UAF too, why else would you be dedicating practically all your free time on it? I do believe that it will grow back to prosperity sometime into the future, but in order for that to happen (sooner), tough decisions will have to be made.
If you choose to not give me the clan, here's my 4-point plan and I beg of you to follow it.
1) Create the technology. Technology is one of the biggest key factors when attracting people to join a clan. UAF's current technology is mediocre and during a time like this where tech is at a very low bar, UAF has a great opportunity to rise up in this area. Also, be consistent. I see lots of inconsistency in building style, GUIs, and whatnot. 2) Effectively advertise. Having the UAF logo with a text saying "UAF" is not good enough. Advertisements need to attract the eye, and they need to lead to a potential cow, generating free members. 3) Train clan members. Train them. Give them a test or do something as simple as judging their grammar. If they slip once in a while, that's fine. However, if they type in unreadable ways, get them off the clan. Test their skills in creating tech, whether it's building, scripting, graphic design, and whatnot. Teaching members would allow them to create their own games, their own clan places, etc.. This point can have multiple subpoints itself. 4) Enhance experiences. Make them feel like they're experiencing something they won't get anywhere else. Make their experience fun, unforgettable, and educational (while having fun at the same time). Most clan members of any clan, not just UAF are teenagers, which is a part in their life where they will remember for a lifetime. Print great memories in their brain, not mediocre ones.
Thank you, UAF management, and I plead that you reconsider the path of the clan. |

@Piano No, he's not. He's a fun guy. However, it would make sense to say that he is incompetent for the job, which is the standpoint I lay upon. |

| What I think is that MOOJL has too many people trying to tear him down and move him out of the way, and less people trying to help him and push him along. |

@rodgerdodger In fact, I can actually see that too. In fact, until recently I've been the only one working on what Haze needed most - tech. Now, I have around 3 other people helping with tech, one helping with the clan's structure and standpoints, etc..
I'd be more than happy to work with him, but I have a vision of UAF that I see working. |

Yeah I can understand that :/
It's also really hard to come out of such a great era such as Benblue's and expect to meet or even exceed that standard.
In any event it would just take time.
It's a hard game this clan business.
At least everyone is putting in good effort. |

| Take time? It's already been a year. I was open minded three times, but I don't see any progress. I'm proposing some change around here because people are really disappointed about our progress. |

I honestly think he needs more support.
On top of all of this Team Acquisitive stuff, as well as some other people who can't wait to get a chance to bash him on the forums; there's a lot to keep up with.
And yes, it was been a while.
A lot needs to happen that's deeper than just the leader.
I mean, he's not a bad guy.
In fact he's one of the best people persons I've seen. |

| He doesn't deserve bashing and this thread is not here to bash him. He isn't bad at all either, but as of now I don't see any strategic plan to blast all the big problems out of the clan. However, I do and I want to apply my plans because I genuinely believe it will change UAF for the better. |

I'm sure disco would appreciate and help with your plans, but I think full leader change is brash.
I also know that it would make you feel like you were responsible for all of the work; and trust me I know that feeling the best.
However, I've come to realize that clans need to work as a partnership, and not only just two people.
I'm sure if you let disco know what you had in store, and what you plan to do he could put you in a position where you could work with him; as well as order out your ideas and goals to other people for them to work towards as well.
That's just my opinion though. |

mfw when people constantly rant about BB9 era being better despite the fact that ben drove UAF into the ground fighting like Russia while disco works on all of these reforms and such.

| I'm not responsible for the work at all and I know how to work with others in a way that can push the clan forward. Even if I told Disco my plans, his way of interpreting my plans will not be the same as the way I interpret my own plans. I'm not saying anything bad against him, it is just because I know my plans the best and I know how to follow those plans the most. |

BB9 was a fool.
But an entertaining and enjoyable fool.
I miss that old bloke. |

@boost I know he wants the clan to succeed. I also do know he is working very hard on reforms. However, it's been over a year and we haven't seen much progress. I also haven't seen a groundbreaking plan that would jumpstart the clan again. |

Anyways, it's awfully late and I need to wake up tomorrow. If anyone supports this, they would bump it through the night. I'll continue with my campaigning tomorrow. |
