| Hello everyone. I thought of a great idea recently. When you are building and you need to copy the properties of one object to another, it can get frustrating and time comsuming. For this reason, I think a properties painter would be a great idea. All you have to do is select the tool and click on an object that has the properties you want to copy to another object. Then, you simply click the object you want to copy the properties to and you're done. |

Great except part size and position are both properties which would have to be ignored by the tool in order to prevent every part you click on resizing and teleporting to the exact same spot.
Other than that good idea. |

What he means is that, say you have a giant structure that you have already built. And you have one brick set to ideal specifications. Now say you want all of the parts in your structure to behave exactly like the one part that you set to you ideal specifications. With this tool you could now "copy" the properties of the idyllic brick and (either by clicking on or highlighting) "paste" all of the properties you copied into the parts of the structure. |
