A lot of times a suggestion becomes outdated or has been used, or nobody supports it. So, two years later, people are suggesting, when it's either impossible with a new update or has been done. It just takes up space. So, why not give the creator a choice to lock the thread? Who wants a resolved suggestion being supported for 10 years?
Happy Thanksgiving!

1. you can already lock it when you create it
2. I know that you mean lock an unlocked created thread the person made.

Thanks for the support. I appreciate not having a bunch of:
"No support. There's no point in this." -Think again "'Who wants a resolved thread being supported for 10 years?' By then a mod would lock it." -Well, I saw a thread that this happened to (but not for 10 years). Where's them mods now?
It gets annoying. :P

"It just takes up space."
>What "space"?
S&I is no file embedded in your computer. Its just a forum talk. Certainly we'd get plenty of threads that we've heard before, but they aren't taking "space". If we had nothing to show, S&I wouldn't exist.
In clarity, you're saying that every thread "takes up space". |

@Thetwopeopleaboveme - (finally a mod that replies) Well, there's really no use for those resolved issues floating around in the S&I. So yes, in a way, they take up space. And, mods CAN lock threads, but i'm suggesting that the ►CREATORS OF THE THREAD◄ can lock their own threads.

Wouldn't it save the moderators time if the creators could lock it themselves? If the creator feels the issue has been resolved, they could just decide to end the discussion themselves. It wouldn't be too much to ask for reasons as to why not, right? Why would it be a bad thing?
Either way, thanks for replying to the thread MasterChiefAlpha, it proves that you do pay attention to our thoughts. c: |

^Who wants a resolved issue there for 10 years, then finally have a mod lock it? This would make it easier for mods. Mods, although they lock resolved issues, have a job of locking thread that are either off topic or go against rules.

I'm a bit shaky on this.
Also, please stop bumping, it is considered a form of spam.
