| the reason its so expensive is also to limit use of cars (which are bad for the environment) and use more buses, which are better. |

| People don't use cars as much in Europe compared to America. The countries tend to have dense railway and subway networks and rely heavily on public transport, also city roads are very old and narrow and were not built with the emergence of the car in mind. We only use the car if we plan to go out of town. |

norway is almost completely energy independent and it has close to 0 oil on its land |
