10: Ben
What can I say? A ghost haunts a Majora's Mask cartridge in disguise as the Elegy Statue. Not too bad, but I'll say this: Good luck sleeping.
9: Squidward's Suicide
Word? Hellish. This nightmarish hell of a ride is sure to keep you on the edge of your chair. It is both scary, and disturbing. Picture? Once again. Good luck sleeping tonight.
8: Slenderman
Oh yeah, you knew he was coming. It's not exactly the story, it's the concept behind the villian. He kidnaps children while they are in a hypnotic trance.
7: The Rake
Once again, probably figured this would show up. The concept behind the rake is extremely creepy. He pretty much stalks you during the day, waits for you to wake from sleep, and then brutally murders you.
6: Jeff the Killer
Ohh yeah. One of the most popular pastas out there. It's basically the story of Jeff's life, and how insanity came to him. Why it's creepy? He carved a smile into his cheeks, and burnt out his eyelids because his morbid face was "beautiful".
5: Smiledog.jpg
It's not the story, it's the image.
Trust me.
Google it.
I dare ya.
4: Zalgo
This is another "spread the word or die" pasta. It's apparently about image corruption.
..
Not much to say.
3: Cupcakes
Yeah. An MLP pasta. This one is INCREDIBLY disturbing. Who would ever think that Pinkie Pie would go on a vicious, disgusting killing spree? She pretty much drags Rainbow Dash to her basement, and brutally disembowels her. What could possibly happen next? She squeezes her remains into a cupcake, and gives it to her friends.
What..
PINKIE PIE! WTH?
2: Super Mario 64
A very unknown creepypasta. It's disgusting, morbid, and just freaky. Luigi commits suicide, a slowly rotting body, and gruesome deaths. It's Ben: In Mario form.
And the number 1 most disturbing, gruesome, and scary creepypasta is..
SWEET
APPLE
MASSACRE.
1: Sweet Apple Massacre
Oh, that one suprised you. Read it: You will be clutching your chest going "What the hell did I just read?" And most likely will be puking.
Yeah, it's an MLP pasta. Don't let that fool you.
Not only is it incredibly violent and disturbing, the villian is Big Mac (Who knew..) And the poor Cutie Mark Crusaders are disembowled, and.. nevermind. My point is, this pasta was just wrong on levels unimaginable.
I'm being serious
The Exorcist doesn't even come to comparison with being disturbing.
Go on.
Read it.
Good luck in bed.
Thanks for reading,
Triforce778. |

I dislike Jeff the Killer.
Poorly written story IMO maybe, with a few tweaks it could be somewhat interesting, but I felt as if I were being forced to feel sympathy, for the character, and his spiral into madness.
The Slender Man is creepy because we do not know his motives - he's there, and always will be, so we have to accept it.
Sweet Apple Massacre was meh. |

Yeah, I see what you mean. :/
On the other hand,
'The Rake' is pure excellence.
I love the concept of this mysterious dog-like entity that is in factuality a wise individual and harbinger of death. |

Ben...God, before I knew that was a Creepypasta, I was thinking there was something seriously wrong with one of my friends.
He kept going on about how he was being "haunted by Ben", and that he lived inside his Majora's Mask cartridge.
I asked him if he had anything in his pocket that the police would bust him for(the name of the object I asked him about starts with a D, continues with an R, and ends with a G and an S.), and he said no.
He continued to try and get me to believe that he was being haunted and even told me to borrow his MM cartridge and play it.
I did, and beat the game on it, didn't see anything strange.
My conclusion was that he was either psychotic or paranoid.
Then I discovered Creepypasta.
It was at that moment that I found out where he got it from. I think he took the story a bit too seriously. |

Or maybe he was actually being hunted by something malevolent?
Just a possibility |

| Meh, I do believe that strange things can happen through usage of things like witchcraft and ouja boards, but saying he's being hunted by an evil ghost that lives inside a Japanese video game, which originated on Creepypasta, is stretching things a bit too far. |

I wasn't being too serious in my previous post, but to be honest, it's not that far-fetched there are tons of lore on psychological entities that appear to individuals based on their fears. Your friend could have created his own version of Ben.
That's why beings such as the Slender Man could exist as mental entities or Tulpa to some, as they're essentially 'real' to the person seeing them.
That, and I'M INSANE.
Ben's awesome though. |

And long too.
Oh, there is such thing as rebunking a cartridge. So you can basically play it haunted style with a few minor hacks. |

Triforce. if we showed you a film featuring buckets of blood being poured on passerbys, you'd crap yourself.
Sweet Apple Massacre isn't scary.
Try watching REAL horror for once....
You know what Triforce, you aren't part of the MTVB3K cast.
You're the hobo that wanders into the studio and mistakes MCrow for your bong. |

The most unnerving creepypastas for me are the short, simple ones that are shrouded in a lot of mystery. While they may seem mediocre and recycled, they still somehow manage to get to me.
For example, "Please Come". |

| I liked Jeff's story, and the way he spirled into madness. The murderous scenes were cliche, but creepy. That's why it was number 7 or something. |

10: Russian Sleep Experiment

7: Lavender Town Syndrome
6: Suicidemouse.avi
5: Dead Bart (once again, good read, and creepy picture)
4: Happy Appy
3: Jane the Killer (not scary. It's someone going boss on Jeff. I found it amusing more than anything)
