For example if a game was a first person shooter, then roblox does all the first person scripts or a building game should have all the building scripts automatically inserted. Am I right?

Yes, but it would make all the games the same. So no.

The games would not be the same at all. Just auto insert the first person script and add your own weapons, tools, scenery, and other scripts.

Well, it would be better if you had the option to allow this on your "Account" page or "Configure" page of your places. I could see why this would appeal to people. |

"All the games would be the same".
>No, it they were, then Battlefield would be the same as Cod. They obviously are both FPS, and greatly differ.
Couldn't you just zoom in all the way?

No, really? I was simply replying to his dumb "All the games would be the same comment". I gave a real life example.

I thought everybody had the copy-lock option. Please tell me people can't steal a person's effort.

Oh, Ok. I agree. Like Grand Theft Auto and Saints Row would be the same kind of reference? Ok. I get it.

I have NO idea what his question is about, and yes, everybody has a copy-lock option.

Oh, I get it. NO. This would take away the uniqueness of each game on Roblox.

I meant like if example109 just used all of the ideas that he saw in petergriffin69's game and chose not to be original. |

Not really. The games could have their own themes and gameplay. The games could vary in millions of ways still.

That's not what I mean. All the same scripts in every single game of that genre would ruin the point of 100% user-made games.

They could still have different scripts. They would just all have a personality in common. And it is a lot less work. Especially for those who don't know how to script.

Well, I don't like games with a simalar "personality". I prefer a wider range of game atmospheres, moods, and scripts. That, and you shouldn't try to make a game that involved scripting if you don't know how to script. And again, everything (when it comes to games) is meant to be 100% user-made.

Here's an idea: Learn how to script..
Here's another idea: Have someone do it for you.
Yet another idea: Use free models.
No support. It would make it easier to copy games on Roblox. |

Moods, atmospheres, and scripts can still vary in millions of ways, I'm just saying that if I want to make a game, I don't want to spend four hours looking for a proper script that doesn't lag and actually works.

Need I repeat myself for the third time? GAMES ARE MEANT TO BE 100% USER-MADE! That, and if it's the same script, no matter who made it, is gonna lag the same amount. And, if you want a script, hire somebody or look in free models.

100% user made? The base plates aren't user made.

-_- That's so we don't fall, genius. It's pretty much impossible to build without a baseplate.
