That always seems to pop up, even when I disable and remove it from Chrome. SweetIM somehow found its way onto my computer, even when I downloaded something and I unchecked the box so I will not download it.

IDK what happened. I didnt actually install it, but it just randomly got on my comp. The only reason I knew it was there is because sometimes this pop up that says "select broadband connection" or something, it had the SweetIM logo. I removed it from my control pannel, but how do I remove it alltogether? |

1. Click on Control Panel 2. Click uninstall a program 3. Look for SweetIM

@ice Si. That's what I did. But what's weird is that whenever I have IE open and it comes up, it says it's another IE tab. It's only when IE isn't open when the icon for it is the SweetIM logo. |

It's from an installer.
Try to find and read all of the check boxes.

@opera
I always do that. I choose custom installation and uncheck every box that has to do with downloading a toolbar. But it still comes on my computer for no reason.

| I downloaded the uninstaller, but it won't show... Probably because I only hit "run" and didn't do the admin pw. |

No. Also, my Norton 360 says it's "Reliable" and "Trusted". IDK what's going on... |

UPDATE OK, so after searching the web, I found using "regedit" you can uninstall it there. Looked in regedit search, there it was. Deleted it. Hopefully this works. I haven't been experiencing browser problems or anything or any toolbar trouble (Like most people say) but hopefully it should be fixed. |

Norton360 is a good antivirus. The best I've ever had.
