The hash is there to prove that the script's source hasn't been tampered with.

The process of finding the algorithm used to hash a string, given only a string and that string hashed, is difficult. |

@Seranok It usually isn't, provided that they use a common hashing algorithm like sha1 or md5 (which, by the way, is extremely vulnerable to attacks and should not be used for security purposes).
