| Any of you guys play Spyro? And I don't mean Skylanders. That is NOT A SPYRO GAME. I mean the good old ones, by Insomniac, and Digital Eclipse. Any of you guys play those? |

@sector: That would take a LOOOOOONG TIME. But here we go: (MIGHT CONTAIN SPOILERS [But I doubt it]) Spyro 1, 2, and 3 were all developed by Insomniac, who before Spyro, had only made 1 game, Disruptor, a FPS that failed. Horribly. Spyro the Dragon was their last hope before going bankrupt. Well, it worked. The game recieved high ratings, but the music was critically acclaimed as the best of its era. No joke. The objective is to free all 80 dragons, collect all of the gems (12000, I think...), and rescue all 12 Dragon Eggs from the (very) annoying thieves. Spyro 2, they couldn't keep a consistant title, so you might know it as Ripto's Rage, or Gateway to Glimmer. New objectives, but a more simple one. Go through all of the levels, and collect Talismans to go to the next world, only 3 worlds instead of 6 like Spyro 1. Once you get to the final world, you have to have collected so many of something (I forget :P), and then you can fight Ripto, the disappointing final boss. Disappointing to me, because I didn't die a single time on my first try, while I almost ran out of lives on the others. Spyro 3, I dont know much, it's the only one of the fisrt 4 Spyro games that I have not played. But I have Spyro 4, I mean, Spyro Season of Ice. (This is when Spyro started going downhill, ofter Insomniac sold Spyro to Digital Eclipse) |
