It would be nice to implement a shader editor into roblox studio. For those who don't know what a shader is, it's a c++ like script that defines the texture, transparency, ect. onto a certain object.
To make the editor easier, roblox could also use a graphical node and line connection to it. |

It doesn't have to be a C++ script. I'm assuming you got that notion because you looked at the custom shaders mod for Minecraft. That, by the way, was written in Java. All a shader is, is a series of functions that at the end of it all simply modify colours.
Never the less, I support the idea of allowing game designers to create their own shaders in the Lighting service provide ROBLOX doesn't skimp out on the features it will offer. Let all game designers have the ability to go all out and in the event their game is too resource intensive to be run on the average ROBLOXian's computer then it'd be their loss of game visits and it would be up to them whether they want to lower it.
ROBLOX should also opt for a more modern graphics engine as well, since many modern ones can support well past the graphics quality ROBLOX could ever attempt at for less impact that it currently uses.
