I think it obvious the #1 thing the Jays need to work on is pitching. Morrow and Romero were said to be returning in 2013 in the pitching rotation.
Pitching Rotation: (my 2013 hopes for the pitching rotation)
1. Brandon Morrow 2. Zack Greinke 3. Ricky Romero 4. J. A. Happ 5. Henderson Álvarez
Bullpen: (my 2013 hopes for the bullpen)
Steve Delabar Casey Janssen Brad Lincoln Dustin McGowan Darren Oliver Esmil Rogers Cory Wade
Team Positions: (my 2013 hopes the Positions)
1B: Adam Lind 2B: Maicer Izturis SS: Yunel Escobar 3B: Brett Lawrie DH: Edwin Encarnación LF: Rajai Davis CF: Colby Rasmus RF: José Bautista C: J. P. Arencibia
Bench:
Jeff Mathis Anthony Gose Adeiny Hechavarria Moisés Sierra ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ People say Anthony Gose is ready for the LF position. I disagree and think that Anthony should stay on the 25 man roster but should not be a regular day starter. Sure Rajai Davis had a bad year, but I say give Davis half a season to see how he does. If anything I would get rid of Lind, move Edwin to 1st, move Bautista to DH, and then move Gose to RF. Plus with Lind outta the way we can add Mike McCoy to the 25 man roster. McCoy is a threat on the base pads.
1B: Edwin Encarnación 2B: Maicer Izturis SS: Yunel Escobar 3B: Brett Lawrie DH: José Bautista LF: Rajai Davis CF: Colby Rasmus RF: Anthony Gose C: J. P. Arencibia
Bench:
Jeff Mathis Mike McCoy Adeiny Hechavarria Moisés Sierra ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Batting Order:
1. Anthony Gose 2. Colby Rasmus 3. José Bautista 4. Edwin Encarnación 5. Brett Lawrie 6. J. P. Arencibia 7. Maicer Izturis 8. Yunel Escobar 9. Rajai Davis
Only reason I would have Davis at the 9th spot is, if Davis gets on base that means all Anthony Gose has to do is lay down a nice bunt and move Davis over to 2nd. We all know Davis can swipe a 3rd base easily, so that means Davis is at 3rd with 1 down. Then comes in Colby Rasmus, Rasmus gets a nice single/sacrifice fly, Jays got a run. (Or you could flip that around and have Davis at the #1 spot and Anthony at the 9th spot) |

My thoughts... pitching: Romero should be in the bullepen and if he does well in spring training, he can go back into the rotation. positioning: I think McCoy and Escobar will compete for SS in spring training and Izturis will be at 2B. Bautista should not be DH. He's an excellent RF. I want to see Lind at DH if he proves himself. I think Gose can be in LF to replace Davis but he just needs to work on hitting. Sierra shouldn't even be on the 40-man roster. Line-up: Brett Lawrie should be leading off because he hits a lot |

| Good post 4x and I agree with you 100%, But do you think the Blue Jays will try to get Marcum back? Also I agree that Morrow should be our ace. |

J.A. Happ? Thought I was the only guy with that name.
BNut anyway, he did pretty good a couple years ago in his rookie stint with the Phillies, expect some good production out of him in your rotation. |

| If the Jays did in fact bring back Shaun Marcum, then I would say get rid of Henderson Álvarez (or send him to the minors), move Shaun to the #3 spot, Romero to #4, and J.A Happ to the #5 spot. |

| I didn't bother to put Drew Hutchison or Kyle Drabek down in the bullpen only cause they are both said to be out until the All-Star break. But if they were both health it would be hard to determine who to take out of the bullpen. I would keep Steve Delabar, Brad Lincoln, Casey Janssen, and Dustin McGowan for sure. |

And I forgot to mention the closer.
Since Sergio Santos is going to be ready for the 2013 season, I would keep him at the closer spot. Casey Janssen did a fantastic job as the closer, but the closer spot belongs to Santos. |

| Eh, I still think Casey should be the closer, but I guess it wouldn't hurt to find out what Sergio can really do. |
