In science I sit next to two people that are the opposite party.
Them: Who are you voting for?
Me: ______
Them: WHY? ______ IS SO MUCH BETTER THAN HIM! YOU'RE SO STUPID!
Me; Ok. I don't really care, though, because we're not voting and honestly, it wont effect OUR lives as much as anyone elses.

"it wont effect OUR lives as much as anyone elses."
Mm, I disagree. Changes to the education systems are apparent through both candidates. |

@XC6, I guess so. But honestly, as a child, I don't really notice anything. Politics is for parents/adults. It's not really something for kids to discuss..

Ok, I think I worded that last sentence wrong.
I mean that as kids, we really don't pay much attention to politics, and we probably wont notice as much change as adults will.

My class seems to respect each other's opinions also.

@Ice And other guy that said he is smarter than me, We respect our opinions. It was just those two people. They're the annoying kids in class, and I was stuck right in between them..

Agreed. Finland has shorter school days with less school in the week. No homework and not a lot of tests. America should take that approach and we should be higher than rank 17 in education.

You can't vote, so why are they asking?
Also, they're spewing their parent's beliefs. |

Everyone wants to share their opinion.
But we eventually learn to keep it to ourselves in some situations.

"Also, they're spewing their parent's beliefs."
That's quite the claim. Logical, but they could also be rebelling against their parents' beliefs as much as following them. |

@Sonic, That's exactly what I'm saying..
Kids shouldn't try t act like they know about politics. All we're doing is going with who our parents vote for, and what our parents say..

You probably attend a school where there is a right wing bias, which isn't a bad thing. |

@ben
Last time I heard, we were ranked 17. I don't know where your teacher heard we were ranked 12.
