Ok, so... Here's sorta my take of an RP based on fallout.

You stare tiredly at the old black and white TV in the corner of the room as it is wrecked with static. It's repeating the same boring message you and your friends hear every day.

"Why hello and welcome to year 99, day 364, month 12, day 31."

Suddenly, the TV sparks out and a new message, one you've not heard before plays. An old man wearing an old fashioned suit, and way to much hait gel to keep his combed back hair in place appears sitting in a chair cup of an unknown red beverage speaks to you. He seems extremely sxcited and speaks with a certain urgentness that sends a shiver down your back. Even as he speaks cool and calm like, you can't help but sense a serious sense of danger in him.

"Heh, well welcome to the final days of you home. This truly is a special day. This is the final day you will be spending in the safety of your bunkers. Do not be alarmed for this is a good thing. You were born into the special generation of children, granted the honor to venture out into the world and begin it's reconstruction. Time now is very limited and I am afraid I cannot go into many details. However; I am permitted to show you this video that was deemed fit for you to see. Without furtherado.."

The man cuts off screen and a few moments later, a cartoon like robot hovers its way into the screen, "Well he--o I'm herrre to show you the am-m-m-m-mazing honor you and your fellow peers are pr-pr-presented with. Tomarrow, the bunkers dorrs will be opppend for the first time in o-o-one hundred years! Isn't that something! Those of you who wish to venture o-of-fff into the world to begin it's reconstruction," He gives off an eery chuckle. "Even though it's mandatory as the bunker will begin it's meltdown process inevitably imploding the whole thing into the ground! Now that's what I call.... M-m-m-m-otivvvvation. The follown are skills you will be taught beeeefore heading out."

As the last sentence ends, a new clips starts, it begins by talking about easy sources of water.... You zone out and in and by the end of the programm you realized you only paid attention to 3 of the skills!

The odd robot comes back in screen and sounds even more blotchy than before.. "Wel lwaz-zn't that something special? O-one last thing beee-f-for somarrow, we asssk tha-t you fi-- out tis te-eee-esst i-iii-t will be sto-r-red for lat-t-er use fo-or other vau-l-lts who wi-ll be-ee-e leet out lateeer on in the weeek."

With that, the screen cuts out and as the teacher tries to start his lesson, the desks glow and suddenly a hologram test appears. The teacher, not knowing what's going on, tries to cancel the tests, but after a few failed attempts just sits down, and tells you all to get to work.

The test seems pretty simple:

State your name:

Current age:

Current gender: (You find this question rather odd that it is asking what your current gender is, as if you changed it in the past.)

Give us a brief description about yourself:

Have you any past medical problems:

After the test ends you wonder the point of that test. Any ways you don't have long to wonder because the teacher quickly gets up. "Well then, we've lost enough time as is..."

--- The next day

An automated system announcement has called every one into the entrance to the bunker. A wall opens up into a strange room, no one has been in before. As you all enter, it is full of all kinds of wonders, clothes, canned foods, tools, all kinds of supplies, and what you recall are pistols from your lessons and are a form of weapons. The announcement stated that these supplies have been stored for you to use when you leave the vault, there's so much stuff here, you begin to wonder how you are to transport it all when suddenly, hidden in the very back of the room, you spot a very large truck.

I am going to include a full character sheet, including the "test," and a selection of 3 skills that you can "remember" from the video.

You could use some work on the grammar though, that's really the only con to this RP plot.

We need details about where in the present-day U.S. the vault is and such.

It lacks a bit of detail, terrain, vault, etc.

This is a collab, let's get the ideas started shall we?

Vault: 213

Vault 213 was originally designed to be the first vault into the new world. This being the case, the vault was loaded with tons of supplies and was bigger than the usual 24 standard level vaults. It was a proud 48 level vault, complete with labs, training centers, medical bays, and an intire floor dedicated to security. The focus the original vault dwellers had was to create a large, strong population to regain control of the surface world.

The terrain:

The massive buildings that used to conquer the world are mostly crumbled to the ground by now, however many houses, and one story buildings still stand today. Over the years, radiation has polluted the water in the wastes and many creatures have undergone mutations. Since the vault dwellers and the original creators of the vault have no idea of just what the city, and surrounding countryside holds, they've decided it fit to provide weapons and a vehicle to assist the vault dwellers upon their release.

-----------------------------------

As for animals/enemies, I was just thinking that those could easily be made as the story progresses? Now what are you ideas, thoughts and changes to these? Like, I can't think of a suitable city.

"Wild West"
Bit overused. I was thinking Mississippi Flood Plains in the mid-USA.

Ok, those are all great. So the battles between the US Army officer, and the Chinese Field Marshal, can to elaborate on that? Is it just like 2 factions that hate eachother? Or is it more like the two are just solely focused on killing eachother? How do each react to survivors?

Mutation is WAAAAY overused.
Let's put a scary history of rebellion into USA, where gangs eventually ruled over and the government build bunkers to protect the people.

I rather like the idea of a nuclear winter to be honest. It changes the story just enough to the point where it doesn't kill the theme, however it adds a twist. It also adds more room to create even more creatures in our world.

So, I'm thinking Nuclear Winter in the outskirts of [A dense city?]. The city is torn to pieces and incredibly dangerous to navigate, though this allowed for not much looting during the last days. The land is freezing, and to make matters worse, large snow storms that can kill a man in 5 minutes can form in a matter of mere minutes.

So let's actually make the city New York? I like that idea aswell. So, I belive we can start cutting down into the character sheet. We don't need anything difficult.

Here's to start with:

I was thinking along these lines:

Test results:
State your name:

Current @ge: (16-22)

Current gender: (You find this question rather odd that it is asking what your current gender is, as if you changed it in the past.)

Give us a brief description about yourself:

Have you any past medical problems:

Character Sheet:
Appearance:
Items: (Such as what you grab in the room.)
Parents job: (This will grant you an extra skill depending.)
Skills: (2 Only. These are your strong skills which you REALLY paid great attention to during your studies.
What skills did you pay attention to during the video?: (three only. These are minor skills.)

Parent jobs: These either add one major skill, or two minor skills.
+ = Major
- = Minor
[NOTE: These are simple ideas and examples and I do not wish these to at all be the final outcome.]

Security Officer + Melee
Security Overseer + Leadership
Doctors + Surgery
Doctors' assistants + Medical
Scientists: - Intelligence - Science
Head scientist + Science
Engineers - Engineering - Repairing
Master of Engineering + Engineering
Cooks: + Cooking
Gardners/Farmers: - Farming - Butchering

[Once again, these are NOT going to in any way be the final outcome.]

Skills:

Guns: How well you can handle guns, small and large.
Leadership: How well you can lead people, and how they will listen to you.
Medical: More basic skill that deal with smaller problems such as broken bones.
Surgery: Muych more advanced skill that deals with things such as bulelt wounds.
Melee: How well you can handle melee weapons. Both large and small.
Computers: Computers were an every day life skill in the vaults. Some got much better with them than others.
Engineering: How you deal with things such as cars, and possibly gates?
Building: How well you deal with non-mechanical structures such as walls.
Repairing: Things break in a nuclear winter. This is why folks with this skill are needed.
Survialist: How well you can truly deal with things not related to other immediate skill classes. You learn to gut animals clean and life inside them for the life of you, and are willing to do anything to survive.
Cooking: 100 year old food is hard to eat. Well if you know how to cook, you can make it taste...... somewhat acceptable... Kinda....
Farming: When you're tired of eating 100 year old food.. What else can you do other than grow your own?

[Skills are not here to ruin the thing like many other RP's. I hope to use these as more of a ROLEPLAY element. Almost to let everyone else in on what you plan to do in the game. Someone who chooses building, engineering and the likes obviously wants to help rebuild and maintain life.]

Please, tear this apart with sharpened teeth in the hopes that we can re-construct it into perfection.
