Section I - Process of Arrest and Court Hearing
Below is the standard procedure for conducting an arrest and the proceeding court hearing.
1. Officer finds a civilian commiting a crime 2. Officer takes action by a warranted arrest or detainment 3. Suspect is moved to the military detainment facility 4. Suspect is interrogated by military and civil personnel 5. If the suspect was detained, Chief Justice or Justice is notified and then a arrest validation is presented via private message and publicly on the group wall 6. Court hearing is established for the accused by Chief Justice or Justice depending on crime level 7. Accused is tried in court 8. If convicted, the overseeing Justice will decide on the punishment, if punishment is believed to be too harsh then the other Justices may regulate the punishment level
To place an individual under arrest requires a warrant from the Chief Justice, the head of the Justice Department. The Chief Justice will then decide if the warrant is valid for an arrest. Once the warrant is approved the military will then make the arrest of the individual or individuals. In the case of an immediate arrest needing to take place then "probable cause" shall be implemented against the accused who is considered innocent of all charges until convicted before a jury of fellow ROBLOXians. Probable cause allows the military, an Officer commanding his men within the military, to detain a civilian for forty-eight hours if there is a valid reason to the detainment. If no valid reason is discovered during an investigation then the Officer will have obstructed the government's assets and will be tried before his Commanding Officers. Should the Commanding Officers decide he shall not be punished and the Justice Department feels that action should be taken then, and only then, may they intervene.
The following treasonous acts are hereby punishable by death and exilation after a due process at court:
-Espionage against the Republic -Aiding enemies of the Republic -Levying war against the Republic -Assassination of a government official -Desertion of the military
