THE ATTACK: Yesterday, I was on one of Anaminus' Script Builders. When I joined, a player said a command which spams approximately thirty-two thousand Messages into the player (me) at once. I was lucky enough to have a powerful enough computer that gave me a few seconds to close ROBLOX down and perform a driver-reboot. However, any users who do not have a powerful enough computer can suffer greatly from a Severe BSOD or Hardware Failure. I recommend placing a message limit (such as one-hundered) into ROBLOX to prevent this attack from being used. This attack can be performed on a single player, or the entire server. I tried this out myself to find out it IS indeed possible to perform this on any game if the user has the necessary skills to do so. This is a very serious attack that needs fixing:
TIPS FOR PLAYERS: If you are attacked, fit ALT+F4 immediately to prevent damage and close ROBLOX. Do not try and click the X button as your mouse will become unresponsive, and it will be too late. Report the user via any method of your choise immediately upon exiting ROBLOX. If you are unable to exit ROBLOX for whatever reason, cut power to your computer right away. Just hold the Power Button until the system turns off. This prevents hardware damage. You may then reboot and report the user. |

| This has never happened to me, but I see how this could be a problem. On my old laptop, this happening, would most likely be the equivalent of being chucked under the tires of an 18-wheeler. This needs to be fixed. |

| Wouter, this could happen on any script builder, if I understand correctly. |

Any game where someone can run the following code is a target:
for i = 1, 32000 do local m = Instance.new("Message", game:service("Players").thumper10.PlayerGui) m.Text = " " end |

| Thanks. Here's the best part: It's already been on Script Builder. That's where I, and quite a few others have been attacked. |

"How could spam ruin your computer? If anything I can only see it would crash the game, but not hurt your computer o.e" All computers dyanmicly allot memory (RAM) to processes when memory is needed. ROBLOX needs a fair amount of Memory to run (around 100,000k for me). The more stuff is on screen, the more memory is needed. It can increase above 400,000k, practically killing your computer. |

| @Above Computers use an Executable Protection System, when there is too much memory from 1 or more application(s), the item gets a memory limit. If it cannot handle the memory limit the computer decides 3 options: 1 if your computer to handle it, let it run with a little extra memory. 2 if your computer is bad, to make the program unresposive then crash, or 3 instantly kill the process. |

Considering my computer which easily overheats, it would die almost immediately upon being exposed to message spamming.
While we're talking about hardware damage, system32 is your computer's hardware. If message spamming harms your hardware, it could affect system32 in some kind of way. If someone made a script that would connect to system32 and delete it, your computer would stop working instantly, and that would be a weapon to destroy computers.
If you happen to find system32, Do NOT do anything to it. Or else you could cause major malfunctions to your computer.

No I mean, my computer can handle spams. Wanna know why? Intel Core i-7 Processor with quad Core NVIDEA Graphics TI-650 2GB dedicated graphics. RAM: 12 GB.
Now you , wanna tell me if I could happen to me? Don't think so... xD |

Yep, it can happen to anyone. What do you expect if over 9000(!)GUI messages were spammed on your ROBLOX game's screen? RAM doesn't appear out of nowhere to counter this. |

@sonickyle Oh my god, dude. You really need to know about technology. Some one needs to educate you. That person will be me.
I play one of the most Power-Hungry PC and more highest-graphics games, my Gaming PC can handle all those games, that are out in the market. (Mainly Cracked Games), they take up to 900,009+ KB of RAM, and my dedicated graphics card.
ROBLOX on the other hand takes a quarter in RAM processes compared to that. It takes up to 200,000+KB (ROBLOX).
If some one was to spam my chat with 90,000 messages or more at the same time, the process for the RAM would significantly increase to about half of the power-hungry games I play. So about 500,000KB+. For my computer to crash, ROBLOX needs to have 12GB RAM process, plus the spam, and needs to take over my Intel Core I-7 Processor running at 100%.
Lolololo. Don't argue with me when it comes to technology. |

Let me just add one more thing to that. EVERYTHING, and I mean EVERYTHING that YOU DO on your COMPUTER is in RAM processing. So if you open up Internet Explorer, it will be in RAM but named diffrently. Probally like this "iexplorer.exe" '.exe" is a excatuable file. You now graduate technology school. :)

| It is not an Issue. It cannot cause any hardware damage, just crash your roblox and maybe slow your computer down A LITTLE. Maximum memory is 750,000 and CPU: 3. Roblox cannot cause crashed computers, and crashing a computer cannot damage hardware, it is not possible. |

I would like to add on to that. Lets say your computer crashes randomly. Okay, maybe just one to many processes running in RAM, right?
Well, 65% of Americans, get crupted boot files after the. They would see somthing like this after a major-computer crash:
"\boot\memtest.exe" The Status of this currupted file in the hardware is 0XC000000F. Thus, with out the file, the computer will not start, and the restoring your computer will fail. (Won't even work).
So, yea... |
