I am generally a PC gamer, but today I decided to play my 360 for the first time in a while. I put in a game and waited for it to load
The option came up to "Play Game"
I hit Play game, and it looked like it was about to play, but I got a message that popped up saying the disk was unreadable, mind you, this is a new game I picked up today.
I tried for about an hour to fix this problem and got nowhere, anyone else who has had the same problem or knows how to fix the problem Please post. Thanks.

| Xbox's have become self aware and don't play games they find bad. |

| I know it says that it is a new game, but was it a used game? |

Well, it was probably a used disc.
But the way to stop the "unreadable error" is to install the game once you have it in onto your Xbox (IF ITS READABLE.) It will start up every time unless..the disc is in half.. |

@Rx, The "Play Game" option comes up on the main screen, but it won't load the game name. I've tried installing it. It will go to the game information page for a split second then return to the main like it has a mind of it's own.

| I heard using toothpaste can actually help clean a disk. |
