In the land called Sarland, there is the 'dark', and the 'light'. The light, dominated by the three races of Humans, Elves, and Dwarves, is mostly forests, with a mountain range along the southern edge, the mountains extending to the 'dark' side. (No, the dark side is not darker than the light side, it's just evil and bad.) The dark side, mostly inhabited by Orcs, Goblins, and Trolls.
Races: Good:
Humans: A fairly young race, they are very versatile, and are proficient with many weapons, and have multiple skills beyond the battlefield.
Elves: The Elves came to Epik a very, very long time ago, and took the forests as their own. They are of fair skin, pale blonde or black hair. They are significantly stronger and faster than humans, but not over-poweringly so.
Dwarves: The short, stocky, red-bearded dwarves have lived in the mountains and the surrounding area since before even the elves. They mostly stick to themselves, but are fierce fighters and can definitely use the battle-axes that are always nearby.
Bad:
Orcs: The tall, fierce orcs live in the bad side of the mountains, at war with the Dwarves since they arrived, shortly after the elves. They have been known to use maces, spears, and swords. Not much is known, other than their fierce demeanor.
Goblin: The fairly weak, submissive Goblins are enslaved to the Orcs, but rebel from time to time, though they don't have much fighting skill.
Troll: The large, powerful trolls lumber across the desert regions in the 'bad' side, they are VERY good rock-throwers, and their powerful arms can pack quite a punch in close-quarter combat.
Classes:
Paladin: (HUmans, Dwarves) 'Knights in shining armor,' wielding large axes and wicked maces. No special powers, but they strike fear into the hearts of Evil.
Warrior: (All except Goblin) Mainly wield swords, and/or axes. They don't quite have the resources for full-plate armor, but many are...Sponsored by other, richer beings.
Mage: (Humans, Elves, Orcs) Wielding a staff, they can cast fireballs and lightning bolts. The fireball is relatively slow in movement, and the lightning bolt is packs just enough power to paralyze the target for a couple minutes.
Ranger: (Humans/Elves) Mainly played by Elves, they are masters of the bow and proficient with the sword.
Rogue: (All except Goblin/Elf) The thieves and scum of the land, they are fast, and sneaky. They dart in, land a blow with their wicked daggers, and disappear just as fast.
Slave: Goblin only, they are weak and submissive, serving the orcs and certain evil humans.
(Admins, me, and a few people who I shall choose.)
Rules: 1:Admin's word is law. 2:No 'It's not in da rules' because I shall ignore/ban thee. 3: No god-modding, ie. INSTA KILLS YOU BCUZ IM A G.OD 4: Keep all relationships PG-13, for da childrun. 5: Have fun. 6:Trolls (You know which kind) will either be trolled or ignored.

| Accepted, your character reminds me of Jarlaxle, of Bregan D'aerthe. (RA Salvatore wrote the books, and I believe Bregan D'aerthe was featured in DnD...) Thanks! |

| (By the way, the class descriptions are basically guidelines and suggestions. For example. The wizard can 'Cast Fireballs and Lightning Bolts.' This is not all they can do.) |

N.ame: Robillard Bainre Rac.e: Human Class: Mage Ag.e: Late 20's, but nobody is really sure. Ap.pear.ance: A pale, slender man, with bony fingers, he wears a forest green cloak. His staff is always with him, no matter what. Personality: He doesn't like people, and despises all denizens of the 'Dark' side. Considered a Battlemage, he always has a trusty set of spells ready, to counter and defeat those who stand in his way. Bio:(Opt.) He lives in a small castle, high in the mountains. The castle was obviously magically formed, as it soars and twists and turns, so majestically that some make pilgrimages there, just to see it. Robillard has been the only one living there since his master was killed in a massive orc raid, when he was around 15. Other: |

(Mmkay.)
Robillard
I curl up in a chair, reading a dusty tome from the castle's vast library. "Hmm...So THIS is the Watergate spell." I flip the page, reading through various spells, potion recipes, and other sorcerous material. Once I complete the tome, I get up, stretch, and put it in its place. I walk to the second level, and look out upon the mountains. I sigh "Ahh...Beautiful as always." |

I climb up that wall of the castle, undetected, then i enter the door and run into the library with a brown leather bag. I finally fix my eyes on the only book of kings and run to it. After standing in front of it, I finally smash the glass and take the book, quickly running away. (sorry for no dialogue ):) |

Hearing a muffled crash, I run back down the stairs, the words of a Lightning Bolt spell upon my lips. I enter the library, and see the broken case, and the stolen book. I run back up to the second floor, cursing all the way. Spotting a figure running away, I let loose the bolt, and it strikes very near his position. I start to chant the words for another bolt. |

"Brand"
I look over my small band of ex-slaves gathering small weapons such as daggers and sharpened sticks; as we would soon be attacking a small group of Orc scouts that would be soon sent for us.
I spoke to them in Rataüs, which was our slightly different form of the common goblin language. It was so spies could not understand what we spoke of.
(Translated)
"Fellow Ko 'Tor soldiers, tonight is a sabotage that may show the Orcs we are no longer a small nation, we are united and strong, they will not stand above us any longer, tonight we show our new powerful rebellion, tonight hell reins!"
As I shouted the final part of my speech, the soldiers roared in anger and victory.
It was true what I said though, this would be the fifth attack we would lead this week, finally the Orcs would see us a threat and no longer a mere annoyance. |

Robillard
I let loose the second bolt, though the figure is too far for it to deal any real damage. I mutter some more curses, and tromp down the stairs. I clean up the shattered glass, dumping it into a bin.
Once that task was complete, I checked the wards and glyphs on the main doors, larger windows, etc.
Finding all of those still intact, I moved to the smaller, more discreet windows.
Since I had previously placed no warding glyphs there, I began to do so. |

"Thank god I wasn't hit, or caught..."
I run back to my home, which is a cave, it's filled with a lot of stuff
I place the book on one of my shelves and lie down on the cave floor, and I let out a sigh. |

Robillard
After placing warding glyphs on all the smaller window, I go to the library.
I pull out a book called 'How to Rob the Robbers' and begin reading.
My reading is interrupted by a group who has come to see the castle.
Since I let nobody in willingly, I lock and bar the door. I sigh. "One will probably be foolish enough to try to open it, despite the visible glyphs and warding signs on the door."
I start to chant a spell to enhance my voice magically. Once complete, I yell out "Do not enter here! The way is shut, and magically guarded. Attempt to enter at your own peril." I release the spell, and continue reading.
