The Tier System is a system designed to train our soldiers to the best of their ability through training and observation. The Tier system is separated into three tiers, Tiers 1,2 and 3, and the tiers are separated into sub-ranks. Each Tier has a different promotion method and focuses on different aspects of a soldier.
-=[Tier 1 - Recruitment Phase]=-
Tier 1 is considered basic training for new OV Members. Tier 1 serves as a filter between recruits and proper Tier 2 members, and focuses on training soldiers to their best before progressing to the next tier.
Those whom are ranked 1.1 and 1.2 are to attend trainings in order to earn promotions. These trainings are standard trainings as seen in other clans, focusing on a broad amount of aspects such as combat and discipline. At the end of the first phase of training, a trainer may choose several trainees to continue on to the second phase of training, the more intensive training which is done in a test-like format. Those who are not chose may be dismissed and may leave training. After the final phase is complete, the trainer may choose one member to promote based on their performance in training.
Once one reaches 1.3, they are allowed access into the weekly "Raid Tests", of which serve as the borderline between Tier 1.3s and Tier 2 Members. The Raid Tests take place on a special training course, wherein Tier 1.3 Members are placed in a raid-situation against current Tier 2s. The trainers will have to observe each member and choose who passes on to Tier 2 based on their performance, as with the previous trainings.
Once one has passed the Raid Test, they proceed to the next tier, Tier 2.
-=[Tier 2 - Observational Phase]=-
Tier 2 is a more flexible area within a soldier's career in OV. Once you have been promoted to Tier 2 from 1.3, you are put under a level of observation from Officers and Councillors. The purpose of Tier 2 is to observe each soldier carefully and know their aspects, weaknesses, strengths, and so forth.
Tier 2 Trainings are different from those in Tier 1. Tier 2 Trainings include more trainers and are more personal to the soldier them self. From the observational data, each soldier is assigned to a different trainer, specific to their "Skills" and weaknesses. Each trainer is to enforce their area and to help each soldier improve in the area. Performance is not judged in a Tier 2 Training, however does help in the promotion process. Promotions are given to those whom improve in their skill over-time, encouraging soldiers to work on their weaknesses in order to get higher on the rank ladder.
Once a soldier reaches Tier 2.3, they can be tested for Tier 3 by consulting a High-Rank. The soldier is to pass a test according to what they have done over the course of their training. Should the soldier pass, they will be elevated to Tier 3.
-=[Tier 3 - Officer Phase]=-
Tier 3 is the final milestone in becoming a HR. To earn promotions in Tier 3, you must act mature, be active by defending and holding regular trainings, and so forth. If a High-Rank or Councillor is impressed by your efforts, you will be promoted. Eventually, through dedication and hard work, you may be able to reach the status of High-Rank. |
