| What are your thoughts on this? Giants are reportedly dealing Lincencum, but if they keep him, should he stay reliever? He's been terrible as a pitcher this season, but when put into the reliever spot, he's been lights out these playoffs. |

| I am not going to have a $22 Million Dollar super reliever. Put him back in the rotation for next season, he had one off season. |

Lincecum looks great jimbo.
You know what I think about Tim Lincecum sometimes? He looks like a ghetto guy on crack. Lol. |

i agree with donny
a guy with lincecum's talent isn't going to pitch out of the bullpen
now if he continues to have the control and mental problems that we have seen this season, there have to be some thoughts bouncing around in the giant's head's about what they should do with him. 1 season of mediocre pitching is fine as long as he is fixing things in the off season, but if he isn't... that's where your problem is. |

| What if the Giants randomly lowered his contract? (I don't know if it's realistic or not, but even if it's not, answer the question) |

| I am glad that Lincecum denied the $100 Million Dollar contract for 5 years this off-season. $40 for 2 years is looking a lot better, especially if Lincecum has another bad season in 2013. |

randomly describes your question
there isn't really a reason to
he has made contributions to the team, it's not like he lost every one of his starts |

Fire, read what's in the parenthesis
I'm not trying to be realistic here |

A better way to put it would be:
What if Lincencum had never signed the big contract before the season? Would you have him as reliever or starting pitcher? |

well if they lowered the contract they'd have lowered the contract, i'm not sure i see what you are trying to ask here
if it is what the repercussions of this would be, probably nothing since he is only on a 2 year contract that's about to become a 1 year contract and it would probably be easier to fire him and eat 60-80% of his contract than do what you are suggesting |

| If he was making only.... Let's say, $2 Million a season. He still has pedigree has a starter, in fact in the second half of the season, Lincecum and Zito were the Giants best starters. |

2nd to last question:
What have you guys thought on Andrew Luck's and RGIII's performances in the NFL so far? |

Andrew Luck doesn't look too impressive.
I'll use my Big 12 bias here a bit, but I'm going to say RGIII is one of the NFL's best. Truly. |

a few appearances of relief here and there in crunch time doesn't make him a relief pitcher
there are certain skill sets that you look for in relief pitchers and certain ones in starting pitchers
he has a lot of pitches at his disposal, not usually something relievers would need since they are only seeing the lineup 1 time through (excluding long relief pitchers of course, who are basically starters that aren't quite there yet)
working out of the bullpen may seem to be a good choice right now because he has made a few good appearances taking over for someone else, but i would still keep him as a starter, just because that is what he has been doing and that is what he is built to do |
